Doubt you'd be able to offer the same sort of money Collingwood, Geelong and St Kilda will be throwing at him

Thanks. Carlton have been talking to him and I'm sure we're not alone.

Is a type we need but he hasn't really done himself many favours this year to date.
I think we all know that anything can happen when it comes down to pulling the trigger.

I would think Richmond would chase him. Maric hasnt got much longer and we need a good ruck ASAP. Will be behind Maric in the short term only.

Hardwick has been reluctant to play three talls up front though, would he really drop Griffiths or Vickery to get Berger in, besides which neither Maric nor Berger are good forwards, I think Berger would be in the same position he is now as forward/fringe ruck, he will move to try and be a 1st ruck somewhere.

Berger needs to partner with someone who is a good forward/good around the ground as he himself cant play forward. Ironically Geelong would suit him because both Stanley and Blicavs are very good as forwards/around the ground, but we wont pay him the money he would want given we are chasing Dangerfield etc.

Will be interesting to see where he goes, I would have thought Sydney would be good for him but their ban on paying above 340k for traded players rules that out. I can only really see the Dogs maybe as a club with a vacancy at 1st ruck (depends how much faith they have in Campbell) or maybe GC, other than that there are few options for him.

Yeah, I think a lot of his decision will come down to money. Carlton seem to have quite a full salary cap, I know the Saints have a lot of money to spend and I think Collingwood do too

Salary cap won't be Carltons issue.

Judd.............500K
Warnock.......425K
Carrazzo.......600K

I want him as number 1 ruck to replace Maric. Both cant play in the same side. Offer him 6-8 games next season as number 1 and see what happens in 2017 with Maric. Maybe we can convince Maric to play on in 2017 and be depth for Berger.

Still a lot of players being paid more than they should. Jones and Thomas to name a few

Thomas @ 625K and Jones? Probably 250-300K but yes, the output hasn't warranted the price.

Whichever way though, there will be about 2 mil going out, which should leave (at best guess) about 1.5 mil.

There are still many ways to handle those monies and not all of it has to go this year.

I still don't think it would compete with Geelong, St Kilda and some other clubs. Plus, it may be hard to sign players when there is not any real direction for the club. Players thinking of signing with you would want to know where the club is going, and to see it first hand.

Instead of your second round pick maybe straight swap for Henderson
Just dropping his name - have been told he is the player SOS wants to look at shipping off for an early draft pick. This is also the reason he hasnt signed yet. Been told he would sign up tomorrow if Carlton let him.

Hi buddy just letting you my club has put big offer on Mark Bilcavs close to $4 million over 6 year your club has offer him $700 thousands over 2 year ,is the repeat off what happen Mumford when he left end season 2009

Would be happy to offer 19/20 for Aish (which I think the Lions would take), give him 450k to get him to Princes Park and try and develop a midfield around him and Cripps.

He will be a gun.

this isn't a docherty type situation where you offer us major unders, it will be between picks 10 to 15

What do you expect from someone managed by Pickering.
Just to be clear to you and all the other Agent bashers, Pickering doesn't work for the clubs. He earns his money by getting players the best deals they can get, at the clubs that the players want to play at. That's it, there's no more responsibility outside of that. He's not a list manager, he doesn't give a shit where the kids play as long as they're happy and getting heaps to do it. If the clubs, and this goes for the Dogs too, can't provide an environment that the players want to stay and be a part of, that's got heck all to do with the player agents.
