People Keep talking like he IS leaving but unlike Henderson and Yarran, Bell has said nothing to confirm this ...only his manager speculating he is considering moving to Queensland...Further the Club has said nothing about Bell leaving either..
Peter Schwab from the Lions on the trade radio mentioned they were confident of getting a deal done.

where there's smoke...

doubt it, but who's first round picks are they taking about? Gold coast, Brisbane another team?

I wouldn't care who's it is out of the two, you would take the deal and run !!!!! Would through in #20 for good measure too to make sure it happens, and pay some $$$ for their salaries next year !!!!!!!!!

How about hendersook and casboult to the suns for pick 3 think that's not to bad for either party.
Gold Coast will have Picks 3, 10 (Dixon to Port), 16 (Bennell to Freo) and 19 at a minimum. Would be nice to try and trade with them instead of Brisbane.

I'm just concerned at who'll be winning our time trials now?

Bell gone...Temay gone....Walker with a dodgy knee.........and what if Curnow isn't up to it?

Maybe the big Woody can do it this year :)

That's what the player manager said. Who was the AFL chap that said it?

Sorry, you are right, it was the manager :

BRISBANE could receive as little as a third-round compensation pick for Matthew Leuenberger should he leave the Lions, according to the ruckman’s manager Paul Connors.

The Lions’ reimbursement would be determined by the AFL’s ‘formula’, basing the pick around his age and terms of his new deal, if they lost the restricted free agent to another club.

They won't be getting an end of first rounder for Leuy, strong indication from the AFL chap that it will be a third rounder.

They'd have to get end of first rounder for him............surely.

First rounder was always going to be very hard but I'm sure the AFL can manufacture something good for Leuy :)

Lamb's manager on TradeRadio now:

- Lamb went o/seas after B&F but back now
- Looks like he will go to Carlton or stay with GWS
- Was looking at earlier (Carlton) but didn't have a coach
- Knows SOS well from GWS
- Says other GWS kids have connection with SOS - more of a 'comfort thing' that helps (with trades)
- Possible trade moves likely to be more about playing opportunities
- Lamb's career hasn't worked out how he thought it would to date
- Hasn't had opportunities in 2015 so wanting to break out in 2016 for a club
