Also, why has Carlisle copped a 2 week ban from the AFL (not the Saints), when the AFL didn't intervene for the Bennell incident?
I really don't get the need for a 2 week ban on top of a strike. Could understand his club imposing some sort of internal suspension, but not sure the AFL needed to get involved.

Why 2 weeks? was in fact cocaine?
I thought the new rule indicated that after the first strike, the player would only require drug related counselling and that's it? no names, no media but a strike and drug counselling.
Then strike 2 saw the player receive a 4 week ban? did Carlisle already have a strike?
It doesn't add up and once again, the AFL are doing something so the public can say - yep, they delt with it but it doesn't follow the policy they developed.

Anyone remember what AFL video game was the best?
None.
Hard game to build a video game on.
Not to mention such a small market so neither EA or 2K sports would do it.

Cannot argue with AFL 2004 for that.
That said though, a shame it's a real niche market as EA/2k would absolutely kill it.
Ding! Majority are crap since they have to rely upon local developers to make the games since there is no international marke for the game.
Now if they ever made a Premiership Manager type game for the AFL, that'd be great.

I used to beat my older brother by 10 goals+ every time we played that game and he'd respond by beating the crap out of me after. Never stopped me whooping his butt at the game though.
