And what's more, he's jumped to a shit team to be third in line.

I mean, for example Jack Gunston similarly left a mid-table Adelaide to be third tall behind Buddy and Roughead. LJ is a third string behind two guys whose combined goal tally for season 2014 was less than 50. Most AFL players would hate to be seen behind Lachie Henderson and Levi Casboult in the pecking order. Not our Liam.

Why u always fighting with Blues supporters?
I asked the Hawks supporters why he rates Demons soo high above Blues and to give a satisfactory answer

Forward, Defense, Mids, Rucks, Coach & depth he rated and surprisingly all in favour of MFC which interested to know how he came up with that conclusion as Blues did finish higher and for that to happen ud think would be higher in more areas on & off field. Not to mention loosing Frawley would leave a hole in their defense

I'm sure most Demon supporters would agree

I can't see where the improvement would come from for the saints just yet or the bulldogs for that matter. Carlton will be about mid-table imo. GWS to finish higher than Saints, Bulldogs and Melbourne.

Isn't it nice to see the lack of votes for Melbourne though?

Based on what? Convince me
Defence wise McDonald and Dunn have proven to be quite good. Rowe has done well for you and do you want to consider Henderson a defender or forward because if he is a defender then the result is closer otherwise Demons win.

Midfield, Carlton's relies on Gibbs/Murphy now but thins out after that especially with the loss of McLean who was one of your better ones. Judd is past it.
Demons have a solid crop of young midfielders with a couple older boys thrown into the mix. Much better mix than Carlton.

Forwards, even if you consider Henderson a forward I'd suggest Demons are better. Have Dawes, Howe, Hogan plus the crumbers is better than Casaboult and Henderson. Jones doesn't even get a mention.

Depth wise again the youngsters at Melbourne look to have more potential than Carlton's. That's not to day they will turn out better and provide better depth but right now Melbourne have a better depth

Don't agree

Blues not only have better tall defenders but most importantly better smaller rebounding running defenders, I still say Demons should have sacrificed either Petracca or Angus to get rebounding defenders and late first round picks, explore trading options

Mids Blues have better callibre in the centre and forward lines pretty even, Demons slightly ahead but will depend on how Hogan holds up

Give me Garland, McDonald, Dunn, Frost, Jetta, Grimes and Lumumba over Jamison, Rowe and the potato squad any day.

Carlton would be good at making moonshine. So many surplus potatoes;)

Jamo, Hendo, Rowe, Jaksch with Doc, Walker, Yarran & Zac running off half back

I'd say Blues still better, Demons Defense will improve

So Henderson is playing both ends simultaneously? Forward or back? Jaksch didn't show a great deal of anything yet.

I'll take our backline every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Where did this "Judd is past it" dribble come from? When he's not injured he is absolutely flying.

Also, relavent article.

I haven't watched Judd's pre-season, but I can explain Bulldogs fans skepticism with these articles. We had them routinely with Shaun 'Career Best Pre-Season' Higgins and Tom 'Finally Injury Free' Williams. We're now left just with Jarrad 'Breakout Year at 25' Grant...

So you'll have to forgive our lack of belief in these style of articles..... :p

Then you haven't been paying attention. Where the improvement from the Dogs will come from is obvious... Whether it is enough to counter the loss of Griffen, Cooney, Higgins, Gia, Jones etc is the question here.

My take on those players. Nothing that screams out AA quality though.
Jamo - Solid without being excellent
Hendo - Solid, needed at both ends and with only 100 games in 7 seasons has had injuries. Should be in his prime though.
Rowe - Honest trier.
Jaksch - Unproven
Doc - Unproven
Walker - Solid
Yarran - Inconsistent
Zac - Solid

I'd have the blues defence as being better but that would be the only area it would be better than the Dees (assuming Henderson is used in defence, otherwise the forward line is marginally better) oh and you have better ruckmen.

Fitting into that category from down the highway.... Come on down... Billie Smedts:p

Murphy, Gibbs, Judd, Thomas with Kreuzer in the ruck is a great combination of mids. The problem is that it drops off after that, Carlton's depth quality just isn't that great.

Don't include Thomas. That only weakens the argument. Can you really rely on Kruezer, seems to problems in recent seasons with injury.

Can't speak for the others, but the positives for St Kilda would be another year into the kids, the senior players that were injured through last year are mostly fit again, new draftees, more time spent with the new coach and some able senior assistants and a softer draw than 2014.

Saying that if we finished bottom again, I'd not be too shocked. Disappointed, but not shocked.

Kreuzer, Thomas & Judd are all in the same category, held back by injuries. Going off recent reports (still sceptical), all three are hitting peak form again

Expecting huge amounts out of Judd is not highly realistic. A bit similar to Bartel. Will still be able to produce some good games but due to age (mostly) will no longer be able to be relied upon consistently.

Kruezer you can't exactly with much confidence say he'll be a force. Seems to keep getting cut down with injuries. Hope he does stay fit though.

As for Thomas, no need for an explanation. Simply don't rate the overrated, overpaid plodder.
