Bit disappointed Luke Lowden doesn't seem to have had a "big" game, surely we would have expected him to absolutely dominate at this level after reportedly having completed a full preseason this summer. If we don't start to see some progress from him pronto we should just upgrade ROB permanently and send big Luke packing?
To be fair i only saw snipetts of todays game .......but i got the clear impression Lowden had a "couldn't care less attitude"

Was weak at the contest .....was not looking to use any body strength ...and simply put his hands up and often was ...not pushed off the ball, that's too harsh, but his lazy attitude to the contest saw him largely ineffectual ......was really disappointed

But as i say ......small 20 minute sample

He was not good. So soft for a player his size. Preferred Hunter.

With groin injuries it is sometimes best to take a steady build approach

Hopefully after a month of footy he will start pushing for selection
Has Crouch got a groin injury to? Or are we foxing.

Got onto the lads at $9:00 for the premiership, given a certain Betting Agencies policy to match first bets I actually got them at $18 for the Cup! Go you good things with VB as captain we are certainties!

We are limited to 14 AFL-listed players in finals IIRC. That handicap may be too big to overcome. Back them for top at end of home and away?

I hope you're right. Does anyone know?

"Under SANFL rules, AFL-listed players must play more SANFL matches than AFL games across the season, including three games after June 30. Players selected as an AFL emergency that were unable to travel to the SANFL fixture of that round are credited with a game for eligibility purposes.

Crows development players will be available provided they have played a minimum of three matches during the year in line with all SANFL clubs."

Any idea if this is the same for Port or do they operate under different conditions? Your quote seems fairly generic so hoping it applies equally.

It would make sense if it also applied to Port, but it's the SANFL, so you never know

Why wouldn't VB used as a mentor capacity in the 2s? He's not in our best 22 and his leadership would be invaluable to the up and coming players.

VB has a place in or around the 22, especially when he puts it all together, without the howlers that is...
i reckon he'll eventually end up snaffle side captain but that might be in a couple of years.
