English underwhelming for mine, maybe just had an off day? McLuggage is a stand out and should go at #1 which still leaves us with some mouth watering prospects at 3. We MUST get this right.

Assuming we get a second rounder for Mayne as compo (#22) and this was going to Hawthorn for B Hill, are were there any players today that would better for us to draft rather than trade the pick?

Yep - it has been officially confirmed as Crumpets.

So far today he has named official trades (almost 2 weeks in advance of trade week actually starting):
Ballantyne for pick 48
Pick 22 (compo) for McCarthy
Fyfe for Patton, Pick 7 + Pick 31

I guess he has us locked in to trade pick 3 for Brad Hill.

Crumpets you have been on the Kool Aid again son.

walters taberner bennell. + pick 3 pick 7 and pick 31

Must admit the forward line looks pretty good though hey?
Not sure about the midfield though.
If Freo think he might walk next year, then the above forward line is what we will get out of it, if we decide to move now.
If fyfe go Melbourne or GC i still can relutantly accept, gws stuff them. Fyfe should be in this rebuilding process, even hogan i need to rethink.

He might not want to be a part of the rebuilding process, I don't know. If he wants an assurance that he will be playing finals regularly and soon, gws is probably the place for him or maybe he can back us in. That's for him to decide really.

He already mention , some of the younger player will be pressing for leadership group. If he not interested in this rebuilding why said this young crop for peel is exciting.

Yes I saw that. His initial comments seemed to be that he wants to be sure that he will have success. If he sees promise in the next generation coming through that may sway him to stay. Depends on if he is prepared to be a little patient.
