Because he is a WA boy. He would have a very good financial contract with the Doctors, he will have an even better corperate deal with Perth based sponsors - esecially now the Pav has retired and he couldn't get close to that in Adelaide.

Let's not forget, this isn't about him leaving - it's more aboit him coming to Adelaide.
