We have him at a price point that we think is right - which is probably $275k, which is probably where this negotiation goes. Our first position is not our last, we've seen that this year alone with Jenkins and Crouch.

Our club knows what the right price for him is because they know their future plans for him.

If we don't, we will trade him and replace him. He is not an irreplaceable piece, and there will be some suitors. Or we just keep CEY for a year. If Lyons was becoming depth again next year, CEY can hold that spot.

Sure, he maybe goes to Essendon in the PSD. But weirdly that rarely happens, does it?

Particularly with his age profile I'd agree with this. Even if we don't get there in this premiership window he'd be right there alongside all our other young guns when the window opens again.

Kelly is better than all of them.
IMO Kelly will be as good as Bont, he'd easily go for 700k per annum on the open market. Easily. He's probably getting 400k per year at GWS.
