I recall someone discovering that redhorse was, in fact, first to suggest we were in to Menzel
This was my recollection also.

Wake me up when September endsI swear these threads are the "boulevard of broken dreams".
That's the point correct - I can't be bothered reading posts that are an essay in traditional format
Prefer spacing out posts so it's a collection of one liner responses ...each to their own
At one point people were contemplating running down king William with nothing but a crows scarf if we landed Cameron.... if we do actually 'land' someone this place would explode!Imagine the absolute fever pitch things would reach the next season if one of these predictions actually came true?
I think your accusing me of something others have said re Mackay, my general comment on Mackay is he has been underwhelming for most of the last 2 -3 years and has rarely shown he's prepared to run and carry or take the game on. IMO Eli Templeton would certainly offer more line breaking speed and run and carry than almost anyone on our current list, is out of contract and would not cost a lot in collateral to secure I wouldn't think.....and from what I've seen a pretty decent kick. And you think Mackay is a twig / light weight who's easily pushed off the ball ......Templeton, who i've always admired his talent, is a lightweight still last i saw
Isn't that how i post nowYou would have loved living in the age of the telegram: We need tall marking mids STOP Mackay is great STOP
Nah ....was talking in general terms, and i should have clarified that, my apologiesI think your accusing me of something others have said re Mackay, my general comment on Mackay is he has been underwhelming for most of the last 2 -3 years and has rarely shown he's prepared to run and carry or take the game on. Hamish has a penchant for Tasmanians too..

Rule 1: Don't believe everything you readPerhaps the Mods should organise some ground rules for posting rumours in trade week?

Cmon Jeff. Brighten my dayHaven't heard a thing unfort , wish I could say otherwise
Did chat to one of Justin Reids mates who I played some footy with and he said ' outside midfielders ' more than a couple of times
Wasn't quite sure if it was more his opinion or not but sensed it was more than that
Hardly groundbreaking info though
SexLooooove the roller coaster of emotions that is the trade/draft thread.
The rumors
The hope
The lies
The accusations
The melts.
This is why I bigfooty
