Ye look that seems to be a fair comment when you take into account the response from Jeffcrowe above regarding the Parker situation. Most times I look at it as a bit of fun and tend to swing from yes I believe to ye maybe not to no way are we getting said player.

Cant remember if it was redhorse but my recollection was that we were into him in a big way and that if we didn't get him during the end of 2015 trade period we were likely to get him in 2016 trade.

It wasn't redhorse- it was that other horse trainer guy just making shit up.
He possibly had some information that we were into Menzel, although he claimed Mackay was going to be traded.
Then, after someone else posted something along the lines of "Of the people coming out of contract, I'd want Parker", he posted about how he'd heard we were into Parker in a big way, etc.

It was just trolling, and sure enough, Parker re-signed with Sydney shortly thereafter.

Didn't he mention we were into JCam before any murmerings were in the media? We didn't land him but that's still a hit if so.

Is it really? Any club would have been "into" Jeremy Cameron, and most would've at least enquired with his management.

As far as I can remember (may be wrong), there has only ever been one mention of Adelaide making a play for him, and it was not detailed - just something like "thought to have rejected offers from adelaide, other club, etc."

I would consider a "hit" to include details of an actual deal that happens, rather than just throwing out big names.

Now, originally, rehorse came onto the board with information regarding Eddie Betts. Despite getting contract details wrong, I would still consider that a hit, and it was said (and I believe confirmed by redhorse himself) that his source was at Carlton. I would expect him to have very little, if any, information regarding players elsewhere.

This is why anyone with sources stops posting here .......he doesn't have to prove a thing to you at all .....you either believe it all not, simple really
