Incidentally, I should clarify that I do think Parker will play forward occasionally, as he did last year, I just don't think he's forward time will increase from that to "a fair bit". Reckon he'll play more midfield than he did last year - or at least that's my hope. Having said that he's got a bit of competition.

Who do people think will score better, TMitch (exclusive mid) or Parker (mid with occasional forward)??

Parker in SC
Mitchell in DT

Pendles + danger probably the safest lot of the expensive mids. Both are very durable and produce big points. Imo theres a good chance that Pendles, Danger and Hanners will be top 3 mids for total points
I'll see your Pendles/Hanners/Danger and raise you Fyfe/Ablett/Rocky. There's no chance all 3 of these freaks miss top 3.

Can't see Fyfe/Ablett or Rocky playing 22 games. No doubt they will be in the top averaging players, but in terms of total points I don't think any of them will be above Pendles, Hanners or Danger. Still need to choose these guys solely for their point scoring ability when they play though, even if it's an potential trade later on in the season. Fwiw, I'm starting Fyfe, Danger, Pendles, Ablett, Rocky

Fyfe, limited preseason. Ablett, who the **** knows but he 'may' have a sore foot. Rocky not the best preseason according to some Bris fans and recently couldn't play because of back, hammy issues :drunk:

Getting all 6 is probably where you need to head, once you know they are ok to play.

Way I see it with Ablett is he's either going to bang and pull out a 130 average or he will play 'poorly' and still end up averaging 110. That's why he's one of the best.

Other option is he gets injured and we got to burn a trade but atleast you won't go wondering.

I can get all 6, but it leaves me with 6 rookie backs....

If he goes bang and you don't have him, it'll be very hard to get him. Same can be said about Fyfe I guess, but he hasn't quite reach Ablett levels (no one has). Ideally you'd have both, both it's hard to find that extra 60k to get Fyfe in.

Treloar and Adams the new engine room

Pendles to spend more time across halfback
Double edged sword - could hurt him, or it could extend his career (a la Matty Boyd) while still racking up decent scores

With alot of indecision RE rookie backs and forwards this year, would it be completely crazy to have just 2 Premium mids (Fyfe + Danger) and the rest rookies.... allowing a huge amount of cash to setup premium Forwards, backs and rucks?

Are Libba and MCrouch must-haves? Or are they likely to score similar to BenKen, Oliver, Mills??

Boyd slotted down back when he was 31/32 years old, Pendles only just turned 28, he's in his prime.

No doubt - but an extra few years with less bash and crash may extend his career by a year or two, and on the plus side he may become a super-premo defensive option in a year or two as well

Where do you plan on finding all of these mid rookies to start?
