Don't know why so many people have Dangerfield TBH. He is maxed out, at a new club, he hasn't played alongside Selwood/s and he is traditionally a slow starter.

People bang on about not starting Goldy and Shaw and waiting for them to drop in value but to me Danger is more likely to fall even further in price early on than those two.

Agree!

Danger is overs, Selwood is unders. Happy to assess down the track when they've balanced out and bring one in based on form, fitness and price.

I think you're right.... but I'll probably stick with plan A crouch anyway and bank the 100k.

Gaz has gone bananas with limited pre season before. Age isn't a problem for the guy.

6 out of 7 - only missing Bonts. Assuming I'll need to trade 1 or maybe 2 at some stage but they are worth it given the value.

What are peoples thoughts on Gibbs, did do much in NAB but dont think he was really meant too. Tossing up between him, or dropping the price and going BCrouch

Gibbs is certainly underpriced but I don't think you would want him in your final midfield so he's a pretty expensive stepping stone to a top 10-15 gun. Crouch IMO will average maybe only 5-10 points less than Gibbs and is at a very attractive price so as long as you can use the extra money from buying Crouch to improve the rest of your team, then I'd do that. Similarly, I was thinking of buying Duncan because i think he has a high ceiling but at the end of the day i don't think i'd want him in my final midfield because even if he does increase his average substantially i don't think he will be in the top 10-15 mids by the end of the season.

Yeah the extra cash would be good, just a bit hesitant on running both Crouch and Libba, was looking at Graham but, I kind of get the feeling he will take a back step to Gibbs and Murphy once the real thing starts.

Firstly, $445k to $306k.
Secondly, I'm picking BCrouch in the HOPE that he can be a keeper, but he'll probably just be a stepping stone to a premo. If you pick Gibbs at that price he MUST be a keeper, 100+ average.
