So because the coaches decided they weren't valuable enough to get a full game they get a free pass on their performance when they were on the ground?Tabs and Crozier didn't get much of a crack last year. Tabs played 15 games and was subbed out for half of them. Crozier played 11 and was the sub in a few of those.
Pretty hard to compare them to someone who played every game and was never subbed off.
I'm sorry, but if you get any time on the field you should be expected to perform whilst you are there. Tabs and Croz both had sub par output when they were on the field - so the time on ground has little relevance to the debate. Both of them are developing so you can expect they are not going to be our best forwards yet but it is ridiculous to think either of them would produce better output than Mayne if they played a full game. Crozier couldn't even impact when he came on fresh with only a quarter to go - he was rated as one of the lowest impact substitutes across the league last year.
