Why has everyone got Tabs kicked to the WAFL?? He's steadily improving and did some good things this year. You wouldn't back him in??
What about Uebergang? He could be anything.

I see ubergang and Taberner as critical cogs in our forward line. What about Uebergang? He could be anything.
The Weagles won a flag with potato KPF's. At least we will have a scary midfield to feed our forwards. You don't have to compare the two to justify taking Kersten. There are things to like and dislike about both Tabs and Kersten but let's not make out that Kersten is better than he is because until very recently he's been pretty ordinary.
But tabs is still ordinary..and believe me im a fan of him.
**** them. If they couldn't be bothered going to the game, they can get excited next season.I was at that game and reckon others can be very excited too.
Nah thats only for free agents going the other way who may also attract compensation. DFA period (Nov) is after trade period. FA period starts Friday and closes 4 days before the end of the trade period (which starts next Monday). Clear? Follow up tests will be held.Yeah I noticed that too, a can't we just sign him as a delisted free agent?
Though it would dilute any Mayne compo..

I reckon he's developing pretty well - my big knock on him coming into this year was his marking but he's improved that to elite levels. I also used to think he was timid, but he's not that either: he competes. He just needs to be allowed to grow more confident and all the little things will click into place. I'd actually jumped off his bandwagon last year but he's proved me wrong this year. I think he'll be keep developing until he reaches a tipping point, like Josh Jenkins, although I think Tabs will get there quicker.
Elite Marking?
Tabs?
I think I must have been watching a different bloke.
He took plenty of contested marks last year. Tabs is developing nicely.Elite Marking?

I don't think he has completed enough years of service to be classified as a 'free agent', even delisted. But as he's uncontracted I think you can go PSD.
I honestly have no idea though, could be talking shit.

You read that right, sugartits.

Same average contested marks as JJK and Josh Bruce, higher average than Darling, Tippet and Patton.Stats can be deceiving though. He's definitely improving but if you have a closer look at those names he's middle of the road among key forwards which hardly makes him 'elite' at marking.
23rd in the comp for total contested marks, after playing only 18 games
Edit: 17 games
His ratio of contested to uncontested marks is fairly normal, so I'd say notIs this however because his marking opportunitied are more often contested than uncontested (because for example he doesn't have the speed to get away from his opponent?)
he did say that, but i think it may have been a case of putting 2 and 2 together.Did anyone listening to trade radio today hear Damian Barrett suggest that Gold Coast have expressed an interest in Micky Barlow? I didn't catch any of it but a mate reckons he heard it somewhere.
If you're in the top two or three percent in the league for something I think you're doing pretty well.
Let not carried away, you compare a rookie pick improvement in afl with kersten and black . Who i think is better than both in term of improvement this year.Let's not expand the sample size to the entire AFL. If you want to compare his contested marking to say Gaff, Danyle Pearce and pretty much any mid except for Fyfe, then yeah, Tabs will feature favourably. Z Clarke was 21 for hit outs - are we calling him elite?
Amongst his peers, key forwards, Tabs is average at best.
