Mac only at that level I think.
Are you allowed to do dad jokes or just practicing for later?

Plantar Fascia (?) issues can be really nasty and last quite a while. OK one day, can't walk the next. Friend had this problem, it lasted nearly a year. She followed instructions to the letter, nothing seemed to work early days and it sent her into depression too.
Hope it really is only minor for Jacksons sake..
I had it for a couple of years. Thankfully mine was only mild - when relaxing it would collapse and the first half a dozen to a dozen steps after standing up were like walking in a bed of nails, but after it had warmed up it was ok. Some people it's just constant though and robs athletes of any kind of push off strength from that foot, which can be key for burst. Nasty.
Did the standard exercises help, i.e. rolling a tennis ball under the foot, stretching etc?
What seemed to end up "curing" it was taking up swimming once or twice a week earlier in the year. I'd tried stretching and rolling a golf ball but because mine wasn't persistent throughout the day it was hard to judge impact, if any.
I have no real evidence to link the two but I just noticed earlier in the year that the pain had disappeared and the only difference in my activity that I could think of had been the addition of swimming.Yeh ok might have to try swimming. Have had symptoms for a year or so although only minor, and the exercises and shoe insteps dont seem to be able to cure it. Cheers for the advice
I really do need to take up swimming. The golf ball / tennis ball did nothing for me and I'm a little scared of doing too much running and waking up with a sore foot againI have no real evidence to link the two but I just noticed earlier in the year that the pain had disappeared and the only difference in my activity that I could think of had been the addition of swimming.
Some length of ground stuff this morning. Kick out from the goal square and then transitional running to a leading forward who has pressure applied by defenders.
The runners then had to continue running back the the end they started from and start over again.
Length of ground with match simulation repeat efforts and kicking.
Then broke off into smaller groups for specific positional drills.
Mids in front of me,
Basti
Rich
Robbo
Keays
Jansen
Maitheson
Bewick
Lester
Archie
Uncontested ruck tap then a contested inside type situation to finish with a handball goal.
Not fiercely contested but enough pressure applied.
Nick commented on the voice levels being a bit low this morning and I must admit I would agree. Not a great deal of voice and demanding of the ball with vigorous voice.
Obviously not getting to watch a lot of live training my observations of players that are moving well are:
Basti- runs well and with purpose all the time. Not overly big at all but looks pretty skill full and evasive
Robbo- runs runs runs. Kicking looks good. Good hands. Looks fit.
Justin Clarke- moving well. Very focused and deliberate with disposal and looks to be all over each drill and what the goal is in each situation.
Cutler- running and kicking is good and one of the most vocal.
Others going ok as well but those guys stood out
I reckon Archie could lift his tempo a little.
And lastly and sorry to say Rocky sub luxed his shoulder. Getting scans to asses the damage. Arm got caught in a tackle. Right in front of me. I heard the distinct crack.
Does not sound like its diabolical but not great none the less.
Not sure which of you is coming across more stalkerish right now.
Ugh! I'm beginning to both love and hate your training reports mate, great summary but there's an injury in every one!
In all seriousness I guess this is the best time of year for these 4 to 8 week injuries to pop up, still gutting though.
Cheers for the updates!
Massive chunk of the pre-season though
