Sure the player might develop, but odds are by the time he's ready to impact we're staring down the barrel of another wasted generation. We're starting to stare down that barrel now.
We can get Edwards with 2 second round picks next year if we want.... we dont need a 1st even though technically he could be a 1st round selection
If we do pick 13 for Gibbs and 2017 1st for Rocky I'd expect the Lyons trade to be a 2017 2nd rounder not one for this year, we'd use 54 on Jarman and upgrade two rookies that's 3 list changes boom #winning

I'm with Kane Cornes right now. I say we take our pick 13 and start knocking on some doors of other potential midfielders. Prestia talks are rumored to be breaking down, why not throw 13 and Lyons at the Suns and see what sticks. If nothing happens there, start publicly going after A Hall, J Lewis, T Rockliff. All would be welcomed additions in our midfield in 2017 and could be had for cheaper than what SOS expects.

Yep, down tools and go after Prestia. Considerably more attractive option than Gibbs and Rockliff.

Except when they trade with us. We are to Richmond what Carlton is with us.
That said, they didn't get much out of Chris Knights and the Maric trade didn't turn out as good as it was looking at one point (when Maric was almost in AA contention).

I thought that matter was settled. Port wanted to get him off their books, he said no, and now they're pretending to be happy with his decision to save face.

Except the combined salary of those 2 players would be a lot more than what Prestia would get.
