Well im hoping that richmond wont match vickerys offer. Than we trade our 2016 first to swans. 2017 first and player to gcs. Than the picks we get from freo probably and 2017 2nd and player.
Then send the pick from freo to north for hansen.
Just love his game!

I think we would jump at anything inside 25 to 30.

Significantly less
Less than 550 or less than 300?

Poster I quoted said 300 or GTFO well what if we offered 180?

The short hand of this for me is no one really knows it's all just guessing.

Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow concedes it might be best to ‘seek opportunity elsewhere’ next season

MICHAEL Barlow has acknowledged it might be best to “seek opportunity elsewhere” next season amid increasing doubt over his future at Fremantle.

But the 28-year-old maintains the door remains ajar at the Dockers ahead of an expected busy trade period for the WA club next month.

Barlow is out of contract after 126 games in seven seasons at Fremantle, with speculation rife he could be returning to his home state of Victoria after his manager Marty Pask last week confirmed interest from rival clubs.

Speaking on EON Radio on Wednesday, Barlow confirmed he was weighing up a future at a new home as Fremantle turns to change after a dismal 2016 campaign.

“The club’s come out and stated that a rebuild is necessary, and there’s probably a cloud over a third of the playing list,” Barlow said.

“I sit in that category and I’ve acknowledged that.

“The club and I have been really mature in our discussions about where I sit in the framework of the club, and the fact that it might be best for myself to seek opportunity elsewhere.

“I’ve maintained my point of view that the door is ajar for Fremantle, for sure. But I have to do my due diligence, as well as my management, to make sure I’m getting the best result for myself as a footballer.”

Barlow conceded he had found the early stages of the off-season to be a challenge, with Fremantle’s non-participation in finals leaving the midfielder with the best part of six weeks between season’s end and the start of the trade period early next month.

“I’ve found it really difficult, to be honest,” he said.

“Fremantle’s been a big part — the only part — of my AFL career, and they’ve just been fantastic for my development as a footballer and as a person.

“If I do move on and find opportunity elsewhere, I’ll never begrudge the club or anything like that.

“The nature of the industry is the club’s bigger than any individuals and the club’s got to do what’s right by them.”

Majak, give preuss a go, or pick up a vfl/sanfl/wafl ruck.

Yeah and now those two have retired. Time to cash in and more him on after a lean year.

Most overrated position on the field. Just chuck a big guy on the field and get the midfielders to crumb their ruck. Opposition players do it to goldy all the time.

Time to unleash Maj.
This argument that we should have an average ruckman with an awesome midfield is a flawed one. Whilst there are clubs that do this very well I'm sure that all of those teams would prefer to have an awesome midfield AND an awesome ruckman. That's what we should be aiming for since we already have the latter. The two aren't mutually exclusive. We have options to improve our midfield through means other than trading Goldy and those are the options we should be pursuing. Get an a-grade midfield being serviced and supported by an a-grade ruckman and we would be the envy of the competition.

Don't worry about it, ppl are getting pretty touchy around here, club is spiralling out of control and us bigfootyites canna do nuthin about it.
cheers mate, understand aswell. we have all be there. i just want to see what you think on these points.
1. Should north have told waite the same news as the other 4 that his time is up with the club? Higgins aswell? should wells walk?
2. Does north need a full rebuild or just a quick draft 3 players in the first and second round range and get a few mature age?
3. If we get freo's 2017 second would you take it for hansen?
4. Is this trade goldstien legit? surely not...

1: Yep, no, yep.
2:Full rebuild
3:Take pick 2 in a heartbeat.
4: Goldy up for trade next year.

How about?
Wells leaves as FA
Compensation pick 15-30??
Trade this pick and Freo's 2nd given to Hawthorn for Hill plus the one we receive for Hansen (pick 25)
to Gold Coast plus Aaron black for one of their many top 10s? So effectively trading 20, 25, 26, Black for pick 4-10?
Then!
Offer this pick to GWS for Josh Kelly
