Dont know about that. Carlton pay an annual rent of $88,000, so no stadium rent to worry about. Staffing costs wouldnt vary much between the two on matchday

The smaller suburban grounds will generally have lower operating and match day costs (fewer gates, less security, fewer staff checking seating tickets, etc).

Or a few hours up the road at a plethora of Victorian or even Southern country NSW venues.

yeah the non broadcast side was pretty sparse, but the grand stand looked packed

So 2 AFL Women's matches in 'hostile' territory drew roughly 10k people in total today. Gotta think the AFL is pretty happy with the way the new league has started.

I reckon it looked about right.The population of Narrandera is only 4000 so a pretty good effort to get 4000

Hard to tell, but Narrandera is just a little bit south of Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Football Netball Club.

if only or even Vic park. unfortunately there isn't much left of the old Windy hill, the players rooms were up graded to accommodate the the VFL team who plays their home games there, maybe a 10k max crowd
