No sure bet they will get someone as good as Weller.

Another issue that they mentioned, out of the last 8 Vic Metro boys they have drafted, only 3 are still there. Possibly go for the Vic Country boys in LDU or Dow or Fogarty from SA. Probably pass on Rayner and Stephenson if they don't want VM boys.

Impressive is an understatement. He's a bit over a second slower than bolt. What the ****? I know there are a lot of people in between but that's frighteningly quick

Best I got was in the 12's. Then when I think about the world record I was way behind and how the F can that be that much further in front over such a short run. Even in the 11's that guy would be 10m in front.

Think I'd like us to draft Stephenson assuming Dow, LDU, Rayner gone.

He might lack exact kicking skills but his combination of height, speed and creativity will offset it imo. Plus seems a great kid to have at your club.

One of my brothers is heavily invested (works in a scouting/recruiting role) at a WA based AFL club......... according to what he's intimated, Freo are keen on Dow with pick 2 and Naughton/Brander at 5. That was as of yesterday.... still plenty of time for their thinking to change obviously.

I want Dow at 4 and Bonar or Petruccelle at 23... not looking good lol

Looks about right from what I can gather. Heard a Collingwood recruitment guy say they'd worked out who they want or pick 6 and given their on ball brigade isn't bad i wonder if Brander's a cance to them.

It's a good start, but it's a system that won't work as well as it could without non-consensual trading. I mean, if an opportunity does come up in the few hours of draft night, it's goign to be difficult to contact the player and his agent and get them to agree to a deal before the opportunity is gone.
