By the time you travel to Melbourne airport, get there an hour+ before your flight, wait on the runway, land in Adelaide, collect your baggage then either hire a car or jump on a bus to Riverland (another three hours or so), I think I'd prefer the 7 hour drive from Melbourne to Loxton.

In what Universe is McKenzie a KPD....he's a 3rd tall at best or someone who at his very best could play Brodie Smith's role........has done nothing of note in the last 2 years struggling to break into a team that has had half it's list out injured at times this season. Would need to see a monumental turnaround in his form of the past 2 seasons.

The evidence is the number of players they had out of contract (especially those on significant existing salaries) and number of new players they had salary cap room to bring in.

This gives ample evidence of the amount of salary space they could have potentially accessed.

We had maybe three significant players out of contract, and Menzel came in.

Unless you're one of those conspiracy theorists who think we have been sitting on massive piles of cash that for some reason we don't spend - it is very clear they could access more potential salary than us.
