I entered it into a local fotography competition and won 3rd prize.Still going on about the foto?
I've already sold* 11 t-shirts and 9 calendars with that Bleedbert foto on it. People love the watermark, unlike the one on our guernsey...
*a lie, don't sue me.
Is he AFL accredited?Go back and read what was said about the photo even after Power Pete requested that it be removed.
Foxtel has signalled it will take legal action against an Australian man who broadcast the Danny Green v Anthony Mundine fight on his Facebook page on Friday night.
Darren Sharpe's broadcast allowed tens of thousands of viewers to watch the fight, who would otherwise have had to purchase the fight through Foxtel's pay-per-view service.
Wrong................
Copyright is a form of intellectual property that protects the original expression of ideas. It enables creators to manage how their content is used.
There is no registration system for copyright under Australian law. Certain forms of expression, such as text, images and music, are automatically covered by copyright under the Copyright Act.
So any of Power Pete's images cannot be reproduced without his permission.
He does allow any image to be copied if it goes on the Port Board.
Really? I tried that but finished 119thI entered it into a local fotography competition and won 3rd prize.
We have always known he is an idiot when he became a press writer.
Just goes to show just because you played means you know about footy. I'm not sure that Geelong play that well at Etihad - struggle a bit I think.
Geelong will be struggling to make the 8 - how is that for a prediction.
LOL T&C's cant override lawYou've been directed to the user terms & conditions on the site which overrides the copyright act
Why do you keep ignoring this? Too inconvenient
Hahahaha.. lurker.Wrong................

I do know that Pete has the right to put copyright on them as they are his property and he does have the right to ask for them to be removed if copied.
Never got into American sport at all. Not that I don't think I'd enjoy it, just not enough hours in the day to follow every sport going around. Football and cricket are enough. Bit of soccer and golf. I'm maxed out. Plus posting on here 15 hours per day. Doesn't leave much room.If there's one thing I couldn't care less about, it would be the superbowl
It doesn't over-rider T&C law, but it doesn't have to when by posting the pics, you are granting BigFooty the right to use the contents any so it wishes in connection with the site.LOL T&C's cant override law

Oh dear .. this is not the Bay
BigFooty are still bound by Copyright law. BigFooty can write anything in their T&C, but they're still bound by the laws of the land. Considering it's a US site, their T&C's are probably useless anyway in that respect. I could post a link to a CrowCast episode here, doesnt mean Im absolving them of their Copyright obligations. It doesn't over-rider T&C law, but it doesn't have to when by posting the pics, you are granting BigFooty the right to use the contents any so it wishes in connection with the site.

It's not a breach of Copyright Law because permission was given to BF to reproduce the foto when it was posted.BigFooty are still bound by Copyright law. I didnt say that, I said BF still has to abide by copyright laws. T&C's cant override laws. It's such a grey area, but my understanding is that posting anything on a forum doesnt remove your copyright, but generally in so doing you are granting publishing rights for that material on the forum. It doesnt imply that the operators or others can copy your material from the site and use it externally, unless you've provided that permission. It's not a breach of Copyright Law because permission was given to BF to reproduce the foto when it was posted.
Could have been anyone but I will attach to this. What are the conditions if it has already been posted on the site? ie the Port board, does that open it up sitewide?BigFooty are still bound by Copyright law. It's like this thread is the Bold and the Beautiful - you could not look at it for two weeks, come back and you lot would still be discussing the same thing...
Or in other words:
So what? The T's and C's of this site are explicit, and work with copyright law, not against it, so there's no conflict.I didnt say that, I said BF still has to abide by copyright laws. The forum operators are basically publishers, the forum members are basically content providers.
