Says Melbourne has pick 84 at the start and then it disappears where you have written the order. That says I don't have another pick and I think I'm entitled to another. Perhaps you gave north, Melbournes pick

Sorry I haven't 100 % fixed the list but when the AFL put the updated order out yesterday they had taken 84 away from you so I assume they have said you only had 4 list spots free and hence couldn't use 84 so I went with that. But if you want to take a pick there fine by me.

That's peculiar. My thoughts were it depends on who is there whether I bother, but I have a couple of players in mind that would be useful to the Dees list. Don't think it would effect much, as most would have passed by then, but if Melbourne only have 4 list spots, then so be it.

Looking at the afl draft tracker on the afl site this morning Melbourne's last pick is 47.

The way this draft is finishing only confirms my opinion .... these phantoms should be done as quick as possible.

The ideal would be a time frame similar to the real draft , 3 to 4 hours at a max ..maybe the night before the draft. People get distracted and lose interest and if the time rules are known at the start .. then all players should be ready to call names before your turn arrives..
To me If you sign up to do this type of thing , you should be able to give it this period of time or don't sign up to it. If thats a little impracticable then a time should be allocated for each pick so that players know the time they must be on the board. Continually waiting for players with a period of 1/2 an hour is just to loose. A lot of the time when players turn arrives ..they are not even on the board so its just wasted time.

Overall this has been a good effort ..by Dawn to Dark & Pure_Ownage. The bidding has worked better than I thought it would. I have seen these things drag out for days and never get finished. It should be an annual event on the Geelong board but its needs to be tight and prompt.
