JS and potential for an 80 ave

Vs

Otten- slightly less JS and maybe a 70 Ave but frees up 100k


I wouldn't mind grabbing Simpkin as a gut feel and it's the only way I can do it

I know to always back the gut but I'm a woos

Edit - or carry Berry as a loophole for a week or 3

Carlton will have the ball in their back line a crapton. Simpson and Docherty averaged 100+. Touhy 80+ and White, Byrne and Weitering all 68+.

Marchbank is a better footballer and finds it more than White and Byrne. Weitering was a first year kpd. Touhy has left and someone needs to get those points.

80-85 for Marchbank for me.

That is a compelling argument.

I'm not counting Hampton as a rookie even tho he is. It's just helping me cope!

Taranto or SPS?

Taranto has a great JLT behind him but will be under massive pressure to keep his spot once Lids and Coniglio return. SPS has no proven form but a lot of hype and possibly better job security. At the moment I've got SPS but feel like not having Taranto could bite me on the arse.

Also have the option of trading out WHE for Taranto, but the job security issue again has me leaning towards WHE.

Thought he looked average in JLT

Will most likely play in a purely negating role IMO. Put him on Cyril and he'll either sink or swim.

He has the speed and agility to stay with him. Whereas Baguley looked like a big liability in the Preseason. if he was playing on either Cyril or Poppy they would tear us to shreds.

Yep. Using Myers. At least you won't have to trade out a non player and can trade out a non performer when Myers starts playing.
