We knew we were shit in 2013. This has just been a ****ing a tease. Trade week (so far) has topped it off.
The round 23 performance, with finals on the line, was more disappointing than losing by 148.

I went to every home game in 2013 except for West Coast and every game in Melbourne in 2017. I know which one I would prefer in a heartbeat. Turning up with a hope of winning as opposed to justifying a ten goal loss as a good performance.

I don't give a shit about 'knowing we were shit', I want the MFC to win every game.

2013 wasn't disappointing it was depressing. Have people forgotten how awful it was in 2013 expecting a 60+ point loss every game? I still remember rocking up to the Hawthorn game late and Hawthorn supporters were leaving before half time because it was such a waste of time, how can anybody say this year is worse than that. Anyway I know It's been disappointing but we've had a fair bit of time to come to terms with jack watts leaving. I know he's loved by the players and fans but we're in the business of winning and not one player is bigger than the club. Time to move on no point being angry it just waste energy.

Letting the world know we wanted Watts to move on wasn't the way to make sure we got a good (or even fair) deal.
Still at least we can move on now and become a football club that actually expects minimum standards from players.
