That’s what I thought.

I get people wanting to get rid of Wellingham but I would have thought he would be better on a 1 year deal than whoever is pick 69.
At this point he looks done, I just don't see any reason to keep him on the list unless we need someone to get rid of next year. I'd rather take the slim chance that pick 69 turns out to be a decent player than keep a guy who doesn't seem to care about football anymore and whose skills have dropped off a cliff. Plus delisting him removes any chance of him being picked for a game over a younger player.

did you know that this guy is less than 4 months older than Hunter Clark

Looks so much like a shuey clone. Looks natural kicking for goal and great skills. Hopefully get him over his injury problems and play him mostly as a forward who can play a few mins on ball each qtr

I've watched every highlight package I can find for the top 25 kids. Very ordinary after the top 5.

Hunter Clark can get the ball but can't kick. Constable is very one pace, an accumulator, mediocre at best and unlikely to replace Redden or Sheed for an inside mid job in a few years time. Naish has more class than Brayshaw or Garner and you'd expect Richmond to nominate him. Worpel looks the most physical mid and can hit a target. Lochie O'brien has a great left leg and is clean with the ball. Balta is explosive and hits targets. Kicking style reminds me of Nicoski.

O'brien looks like he has a really lovely left foot, but I didn't see him swing onto the right at all in any of the videos i've watched. Might be a good gaff replacement though if Gaffy is thinking of leaving.

Yeah sorry cobber, whatever credibility you think you may have had in this post you lost right there.

13. I'd take O'Brien if he's still there. An elite gut runner with a deadly left boot. He's a former 400m state junior record holder and ran a 6:12 in the 2km at the combine. Projected as top 10 at the start of the year before a niggling knee injury. Plus he's from Mildura and boarding at Geelong Grammar so not likely to want to go back to a Melbourne club. You can't teach an 19 year old how to kick and it can take years of preseason training for an average runner to get the stamina to run like this bloke can at 18.

Thoughts on Patrick Farrant from Bunbury way.

There was a bit of noise about him a while back as a draft smokey and his highlight package was pretty darn impressive for a 17 year old. Looks like a lanky HFF / skinny tall mid. Fyfe was pretty skinny when drafted thats why he slid.

Think he is a forward or played there for SD colts , his numbers at Colts level wasn't that high .
Meant to be a really good contested mark but finds it hard to get into games ...probably the ideal rookie pick .

I pray that Vebables injuries are over.

Every posession he dishes off is calculating as soon as he receives the ball. Speed of mind to choose a different option mid stride is a sight to behold and he does this nearly every posession.

Elite in assessing the right option. Quietly confident this translates to AFL.

I really believe we've got an absolute gem in Venables, just needs a good run at it with his body
