Hypothetical but the right deal is jelly and a second for two first and gaff for acres straight up with nothing else. Then I do it.

Hickey and whatever else we can do and pray you land stringer if possible with whatever you can make out of spare parts.

If it's more then acres for a gaff level then no Thanks as I think he will be better in the long run but gaff is a need right now where as acres is covered with a jelly type mid
Kelly is good but if they don't accept 2 firsts then I'd be looking elsewhere.

Gaff I personally don't rate as highly as some and especially if Acres is involved in the trade.

I'd be looking at Stringer over Gaff and would do a deal for him before we even contemplate gaff.

Kelly should be our focus, but not if we are selling the farm. A solid team beats a team of stars as witnessed last night by the crows with arguably their best player missing.

Think you are over paying for Stringer. It'll definitely involve a first rounder but we wouldn't have to give up anything on top surely.
Don't think I'd give up Pick 8 and something else for Stringer, but with future picks you have to take in to account the risk and also the fact that one has to wait to cash in on said picks, they become worth a little less. I think about 10% less in risk and 5% for the waiting. You probably wouldnt trade Pick 10 in 2016 for Pick 10 in 2017, you probably would trade Pick 10 in 2016 for Pick 23 and 36 in 2016 and Pick 8 in 2017 ;)

My understanding is the trading out of potential players is to gather picks to be used for currency to bring in bigger deals. Now we have currency for a superstar in jelly. But if we are looking at all Australian level aswell then we need another first potentially. We won't trade out players we don't have depth for... So Hickey to me should be going. I have no idea who else. Just whispers.

Stringer is interesting as he isn't a need other then he is an xfactor. At stkilda he probably gets the 2nd or 3rd best defender. Which allows him to run up the ground and turn his man around. Makes him incredibly dangerous.

Honestly I love Acres and think he will be a gun. BUT I would personally move him to land a Gaff level player in the RIGHT DEAL.

It's a massive risk, I can see Acres becoming something super special, he's a unique player with something different to anyone else on our list. I can see advantages both ways. If Gaff came and we were able to have massive finals campaign on the back of Kelly and Gaff joining I think most fans would be happy but if we don't and have traded a favourite son who goes on to be a star there will be baying for blood.

I reckon Acres should be on the table.
Underwhelmed by him and when we have Kelly Stringer and Gaff, he will be playing at Sandy.

For some reason people rate him so lets trade the campaigner before the truth comes out....

Everyone's trade-able for the right price. I for one would hate to lose Acres. I just reckon he's got something special about him which is yet to fully blossom.

I'm a massive fan of Acres as well, but if we were getting Kelly, that's one less spot available for Blake in the midfield that he's already struggling to break into and if we happened to get Stringer as well, that's one less spot available in the forward line as well, so he'd be getting seriously squeezed.

Still doubt we'd do it though, unless in the extremely unlikely situation that we were trying to find currency for say all of Kelly, Stringer and Gaff.

Blake is still just getting warmed up, yet having 30 disposal games.

I can see Acres being very similar to Josh Kennedy from Sydney....well actually Josh Kennedy from WC too. When WC got him in the Judd deal as steak knives no one thought he'd be as good as is.

So now we are trading Acres! No wonder we are shit. Our list is shit. Our coach is shit. Our game plan is shit. Our facilities are shit. Our list management team is shit. Kelly isn't coming, either is Whitfield. We missed Martin because we are shit. Looks like we missed the boat on getting Mason Cox, he could have added something.......IE: Another shit player at our shit club
Keep Calm
Trade
Motlop.

So nice of Garry and Hamish to bring that homeless man between them into the studio.

He comes into my business sometimes and he looks pretty derelict walking around the streets of St Kilda and Elwood. Scruffy campaigner is the old Timbo.

Dude, don't show your weakness, this place is like a prison, you'll lose your shit and they will wind you up more for a laugh. Just troll them and say you'd swap Acres for Wellingham or Jamie Cripps and watch those campaigners melt instead.

They would both an upgrade on Acres.

I also like Cripps hardness.

Not a good day to be a bandwagoner pats fan.
:p
On edeleman, brandin cooks is a better WR, just needs to get the chemistry going with brady.
Pretty ordinary day we just got owned on national TV worst loss for a couple of years that was against KC as well.

A couple of players went down during the game but even though we lead for quite a while we never looked good except for the first 10 minutes or less.

Cooks is a better vertical threat but he would need to have some career to be a better player than Edelman.

The patriots looked terrible and KC look to have found a couple of players but he we have done alright since the last bad loss.

Bandwagoner well like the saints who haven't paid off yet I was on it for a long time before I saw any results here's hoping we have a bandwagon to climb on soon.

I'm not touching the Blake debate, but my god if we netted Kelly, Stringer and Gaff we'd be flag favourites.

As for Stringer, I hate him, he was the campaigner who stirred up Roo at half time when we came back from 15 goals to beat them. Even still, I'd happily trade him in for the right price. Bloke has match winner written all over him.

If we could trade Mav, Hickey and roll those picks into Stringer using a second rounder everyone would do it without thinking!

Has anyone been able to to confirm this supposed ankle injury with Mav?

I've asked multiple people at the club about Mav, and the only thing I hear was ever injured is Mav's overly large ego when he wasn't awarded the captaincy that he put so much time into acquiring during the off-season.

I'd be happy to see Mav traded out to be honest, can't see him being part of the leadership group next year either..

Mav himself said it in interview on sen about half way through year. Plus he limped off in a few games. Obviously a real ongoing issue. Now, why he kept getting selected is another matter.....

Underrated ripping post

The Patriots make me think of Family Guy.

Same thing happened to Roberton and nearly ended his career. The Saints sent him back out to play on a ****ed ankle and he badly wrenched it. They were talking of fusing the joint on him. Our medical guys obviously don't rate ankles highly.
