Just have heard that we want it wrapped up by tomorrow.
This sounds like we have other things to take care off and dont want the Josh saga taking up the remaining time..................or we want to spend wed and thurs hitting the piss watching replays of the finals series.

Is there any sweeter sight this time of year than this:

2018 2nd and 3rd + Miles for Schache

Delist Drummond to allow us to use four picks in the draft.

Use pick 15 and 17 on decent players, then match Naish bid with 52 and 55, pass on pick 55 which has moved to the end of the draft. Use our extra rookie pick to get Drummond back, use the other rookie pick on best available.

Points deficit can only be taken off our 4th next year, haha. But we just upgrade Stengel and Drummond, and use our first.

Not sure where the points deficit goes then.

we could do that.

Could we even rookie Drummond and possible upgrade end of 2018?

Dogs are into Schache and have a better pick than us, I doubt we get him now.

But would Schache agree, remember they can’t force him to go anywhere because they recontracted him.

Schaches point of view.

Go to the 2017 premiers who have a need for a KPF, with only an injury prone Griffiths my competition. Go to the team with my ex coach who I got along with and who have a really strong relationship within the group.

Go to the 2016 premiers who have Cloke, Boyd, Redpath, Trengove and others who are all similar types to me. Rumours of in fighting at the club and some players not liking the head coach....

Is 2018 actually quality draft though. I know the top of the draft is a lot stronger then this year but at this stage we don't know how deep it actually bats. Someone like Bishop would have a good idea on how it shaping up in terms of depth but even then there always players rated highly now who end up falling and others who end up rising.

They kept saying this year was the draft for talls so don't bank on it being a great draft next year

Depends on where he wants to go

Was he a tiger fan growing up or is that just me imagining things? For some reason I had this idea I read he was a tiger fan

So Josh allegedly broke down in tears in the interview with us, what a ****ing sook...............................but if i was told i would be playing in front of 80k crowds and receiving lace out passes on the left tit for the next 7 seasons from Dusty i would cry as well. :D:'(

As far as I am concerned I can insinuate all I like.

For what its worth I do not think anybody is entitled to anything.

One has to earn respect and loyalty etc... and I am glad the club has turned it around and won the premiership.

I would rather support a club that is aware that they are not in vacuum and their is a relationship where there are obligations on both sides and no one deserves a blank cheque frankly!!!

To be honest I would rather support a club where its not unconditional within reason so the club is motivated to perform and not become Fitzroy!!!
POTY....

Caught up with my mate, but not much has changed from what he shared on Day 1.

All this Schache speculation is misplaced.

I’ve been told definitively that the Tigers aren’t interested. They were earlier in the year, but now they’re not. Same way that plenty of other teams that could do with a KPF drafted at #2 aren’t interested. His manager knows why.

Only trade action involving the Tigers is likely to be with our fringe players seeking increased opportunity - but that’s no secret. The club is still looking for fair value, though. We would love to trade into the second round if possible (although internally conceded as unlikely), or better yet, stockpile picks for next year.

Expectation is both first rounders will be taken to the draft.

Get off your high horse... every campaigner on here has had one of those melts on here over the past 15 years. To say that you havent is just a blatant lie. Its what makes our club so brilliant... we express our frustrations in wonderfully funny ways, but we still managed to survive the pain and are still the biggest club in the land. Give him a break.
Game day yes.Very much so.But over a trade?Come off it.
