Article just now on the Herald Sun page saying he may stay a lion, goes on to to say that we're adamant we're taking our picks to the draft so just can't see Scache to Tigers eventuating sadly
The moment Tiger71 called it a lock we were doomed*

*or saved depending how you rate the kid.

Caught up with my mate, but not much has changed from what he shared on Day 1.

All this Schache speculation is misplaced.

I’ve been told definitively that the Tigers aren’t interested. They were earlier in the year, but now they’re not. Same way that plenty of other teams that could do with a KPF drafted at #2 aren’t interested. His manager knows why.

Only trade action involving the Tigers is likely to be with our fringe players seeking increased opportunity - but that’s no secret. The club is still looking for fair value, though. We would love to trade into the second round if possible (although internally conceded as unlikely), or better yet, stockpile picks for next year.

Expectation is both first rounders will be taken to the draft.

Battle of the inside sources.

Exciting few days trading coming up.
Come on guys, who hasn't done something stupid when it's pure richmond emotion in your soul, once when we were getting pumped, in pure frustration, I threw my bag over the balcony, yelling farg you richmond, relized my wallet was in my backpack also, some kkkuuunnnttt ran off with my bag, all I could do was tell out, stop kkkuuunnnttt, lucky then I carried little or almost anything in my wallet, forgive poor Mr magic, we are premiers, heavyweight champions of Australia, go tigers.
Ohhh schache to richmond by Tuesday night.

Love a 12 year 75 post prediction

There is something seriously wrong with the compo system is Buddy is worth pick 19 and Dusty would have been worth pick 18 and Motlop compo worth pick 19. Where has been the media coverage on this?

They were going off about it on trade radio today. They also discussed it on AFL Tonight.
The system is legitimately ****ed.

Both have very good track records, but I reckon Snouts source just hasn't been told the full story on this one, as the club is holding their cards very close to their chest now

Completely corrupt. Formula not public, not transparent and chip ****ing Frawley compo to Melbourne is an OTT ****ing LOL

It was a hypothetical mate to rate my point. Just becacuse Miles didn't play does not mean he's not n our best 22.
As I clearly stated there were reasons he did not play and others did, but he is a better footballer than the ones I mentioned.
It's likely if Prestia gets injured as he does - Miles is next cab on the rank.
Yes that versatility of Grigg ... second ruck! 'm sure Miles could not do that.
But keep disagreeing for the sake of it!
Best 22 is usually referred to as starting 22 u would think. He does not appear to be this and is next in line if Prestia, Cotch and perhaps Martin, Caddy and one or two others get injured depending on who we play and what team balance they are looking for.

He has trade value now, so if we get the right trade where we get the pick value or helps to bring in a player we have need we should do it.

I think you would agree where others will not us we should really also look at doing this with Castagna. He may improve some of his deficiencies, but I have my doubts, but as a Premiership player his value may never be better. Trouble is his best bud Butler and what splitting the two up would do to the team culture.

We need to be bold while we can if there are opportunities to improve our list. Top opposition teams will start planning to beat us and our style next year rather than believing their team and style of playing will beat us (plus a harder draw in theory). We can stay still and expect to finish near the top.

If we had lost dusty to FA after the year he had it would need to be top 5 draft pick... as in picks 1 - 5... all of them

Scott Lucas put it perfectly on SEN...."it's about equalisation, not fairness"

It's just the AFL trying to engineer the competition.

Plus I refuse to criticise a system that gave us pick 25 for Vickery! Haha

Josh Schache would be an ideal pick up for us. Ever since Griff went down with injury we've been crying out for a soft KPF who can provide 9.1 disposals, 3.9 marks and 0.9 goals per game.

I get the sarcasm but most KPF’s would have similar stats in their first two years, especially ones that dropped off in their second year.
