I wonder if GWS would have taken a better CHB than then currently have for the next 3 years plus Goldy to replace Mumford with us paying their salary for the pick they got from *
They are both contracted and say no. Never an option

Hi
I come asking this question truly with total respect to your club.
I was just wondering what do you think are the chances of Andrew Swallow being delisted by you?
I’d love to see him at the Suns.
Anyway I ask it with respect and if you say Zero Chance then that is fine.
He still has a contract with us so we would be unlikely to delist him.

Our membership is going to take a beating the next few years. Most non diehards have no idea what the club is selling.
Then be pro active in spreading the word. I took a lorry of shot on Christmas day last year for applauding the club on the delistings. I brought them round as I knew I would because they have no other choice. They have to love the players the administration at the time and the coach pick and play. Theoreticals after the fact dissolve as the players run out another a roar.

They're a bit pissed about the reserved seats. I told them it was channel seven and not the club

Hey guys, just curious about your thoughts on Sam Gibson?

I honestly know nothing about him other than he has the longest game streak, and finished 4 and 6th in the last 2 b&f’s.

Could you see him being in the crows 22 next year?

GUN.

Despite what you may read on here, the bloke is a big game performer, tags the best inside or outside, runs like clappers when the ball is coming out of your backline off his bloke to create a link, kicks goals. Got 35 touches in a final.

But the ppl on here would like you to believe he is a coach killer...this one time at band camp he did not hit a target...blah, blah...not his job. Coach maker as he and Jacobs got our B graders to prelims in finals.

If he was your 22nd player in the GF, he would have done a number on someone.

Must admit I retched a little at the mere mention of him.
He has a year to change that taste of Bile to Champagne - or at least an Arden street cafe coffee!

Is it too much to ask for the it's happening gif?

Just getting started, Virgins.

Thank me as we go on
Interesting paying money for an account that will be banned soon enough. Unless you've been sent by someone linked to someone who owns the site, given the premium account to go and troll.

Remember that he was playing in our side every week when we played consecutive prelims in 14&15 so he hasn't been gifted games by a crap side. A solid pick up who will provide depth at a minimum. Good luck.
Watch the hawthorn game when we lost two early to injury. Or was it geelong? I sent my research assistant home earlier because the smell coming from his teeth was just awful. Something rotting. He has not texted me back the answer. Fair enough. No paper work as I was not paying him. My feeling is geelong. He was tagging dangar and then was let loose when Cunners maybe? And Jason love went down? No, no, no, it was mark arceri the wife is yelling from the kitchen. I'm sure Sam had a good game against hawthorn too. He reality stood up. The one were drew teased Brian lake and then lake choked him. Ahhhh the memories. All the best Sam. You improved the club and I am sure you will improve Adelaide who lost their best defender because they are paying Josh Jenkins a shout load of money!

Whilst I'd love to contribute some optimism I think on any analysis it has been a distrastrous 18 months in general and specifically a deflating trade period - we didn't rack up all these pages and repeated viewings expecting to end up with 2 picks in top 60! I've listened to, and read, Pelchans comments over last week and basically agreed with his sober analysis. My keen footballing loving non-North friends are unanimous in their assessment that North seems directionless. Some key points to note:
1. We set out (quite publically) to catch some huge fish and failed - this in eyes of general public now looks desperate and silly and may have hurt our reputation as destination club for many years- apart from Lynch and Sloan there is no equivalent big fish FA's in 2018 and we'll be ridiculed for even trying for them
2. We seemed unprepared for failure on Kelly/Martin attempts with no obvious plan B - we never thought of the need to prepare a Tarrant/Goldie/Higgins/Cunnington/Atley for a trade thinking they'd be essential side kicks to our new stars. Sure, none of them may have wanted to leave but if you prepped Tarrant for a move to Saints/Cats/Crows where he just might win a flag maybe we could have pulled off a high value trade
3. Out treatment of Gibson and Mullet (and less so Hanson) was downright embarrassing-what on earth did we gain in delisting and humiliating them pre trade week? - it is possible that we just might have got a little something for Gibson in particular if we didn't so overtly devalue him (eg a combo offer to help us get pick 2 from GC) Regardless why make such a spectacle of them pre trade week ? What a shocking cultural message. And then the nerve to put up the Gibbo trade as one of only news stories on the North site post
Trade week!!
4. If you're not sure of the bind we're in, compare Carlton and North who finished on same points this year. Blues have a heap of young potential on their list already and yet they brought in 3 new players and ended up with improved 2017 AND 2018 draft picks. They paid almost nothing for Darcy Lang meaning his choice rested solely on his preference for Blues. Sure they got a bit lucky with Gibbs scenario but they have a clear strategy and executed perfectly
5. Having Swallow, LT on our books with year left of contract and Goldie for 2 years with not a hint of interest in keeping them, by us or anyone else, is surely a failure of list management. Surely when Andrew indicated his interest in Suns we could have at least pretended we remained keen on a contracted player rather than appearing to pack his bags
6. We hope desperately for our young guys but it wasn't just media bias that kept all of our year players out of the AA U22 this year

As a North follower of 30+ years, just a tad glum tonight - sorry to vent for so long ...

Well said. the media like to hype and most of their hype is based on the writer's own opinion, remember these writers were former afl players so they are not that much better the social media posters, simply more famous. Essendon is suddenly touted as a 'destination' club. lol, got to ask their definition of definition? Is it a destination due to imminent success or is it a destination where the said players couldn't hack it at their respective club and want to go to a club who is a sucker for them by paying overs. I love how we have drafted over the years with FA. The dal santo, higgin, waite all played their roles brilliantly. Dal santo was instrumental to us progressing past 2 finals in 2014 and waite booted 4 goals each in 2015 final wins. The trades last year (ahern, hrovat, marley) were brilliant as we got 3 players cost almost nothing but playing key roles. I really like how we are going to draft the father son and academy players, so with pick 4, ahern (pick 7), academy (top 10), fs (top 20) over the next 2 years, we will unearth a quartert of top 10 pick players on top of the 13 players we have blooded. Future is bursting with
He will probably spend his time between the seniors and VFL as a mentor to our draftees and rookies
Contracted

Good evening.

Allow me to introduce myself, and assure you that what ever I post here is bankable information.

I look forward to whispering with you all

Welcome aboard. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are legit.

How do you think our trade period went? Is there any info about what went down or in fact what didn't go down with Swallow and Goldy?

Darren Jarman on Adelaide radio

“What happened to north? We got Gibson who is one of their best midfielders and I’ve heard Cunnington is on over 800k?”

/cues the entire lot of them laughing their ass off at norf

Not turning up to trade week >>> not turning up to your first grand final in 20 years.

Why would a legit source of information join up straight after the trade period?

Surely we don't need newbies to give us hindsight opinions.

As a north supporter for as long, and perhaps seeing some things differently, I would like to address your points with upmost respect from my view point:
1) I Think jk and dusty attempts neither desperate not silly. If Richmond hasn't of made the eight Dusty would have come and he's nearly did anyway. Kelly was a different kettle add we would have had to trade two first rounders for him. But when the club decided to chase them Kelly was behind several of their midfielders. The club identified the talent of two top fifty players in the league as having the potential to be top five. They were proven right as hard as that would have been to believe twelve or twenty four months ago. This is also the argument to draft. Players feel like they belong and have mates and it all intertwines with their family. Hard to prise people out unless desperately unhappy. In which case they are odds on to be desperately unhappy again.

Finish in bottom four...still somehow end up mid-table.

2) Sorry but just rubbish. Unprepared? Why did we depart like we did and decide to go to the draft. Plan a was a small percentage chance. Unprepared? The CWA never run out of wool and they are not being paid!

And 'sure none of them wanted to leave the club'.
Just realised that you are a troll. As George W once said About being fooled.

Damo. Just please go away! You need to travel and breath and find the source of your anger. After all, your anger will destroy you.
