I have wondered what he is on. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. 3 years would be madness for a player who hasn't even come close to AFL selection in his 1st 2 seasons. Can't believe we would have magnified the stupidity of the price we paid for him by giving him 3 years.
I would hope we have done the sensible thing and offered 1 season. Still maybe 2 was offered to get him to sign on. It a very realistic outcome that we will know pretty early in the piece whether he is likely to be AFL standard. If he doesn't make the step up and ends up in the VFL permanently 3 years would be a disaster.

Or did he need to be dropped and he rebounded better for it. I think there is a real competitive streak in the Texan, needs to bring it more.

So that's essentially how you see the team developing over 2018 (injuries allowing of course)?
The Langdon and Scharenberg omissions will likely bring the most argument. I'd certainly argue 1 or both will be unlikely to be missing. I'm also really hopeful that the Grundy-Cox pairing will click making Cox another unlikely omission. But if we're picking that side on form toward the end of the year then we're going okay I'd reckon.

How can people put Moore in the backline? Reid and Cox would be the slowest forward line in the comp and both offer nothing once the ball hits the ground. Reid is nearly cooked IMO.
