He’s out of contract. We’ve offered another contract. He’s decided he wants to be traded to the tigers. Not much we can doI gotta say, I agree. Richmond have approached a player who we want to keep. Early second should be the minimum

Talks of pick 25 are way off the mark. Prepare to be disappointed. We don’t have much pull for an out of contract player who has requested a trade. There is a little. We can work to convince him to stay, up our offer, or walk him to the PSD. We have more leverage here than with Brockman given that a number of clubs would value him in the PSD before Richmond.

Personally I would like to keep him.
North will take him in the psd, Clarko would be keenThere is a little. We can work to convince him to stay, up our offer, or walk him to the PSD. We have more leverage here than with Brockman given that a number of clubs would value him in the PSD before Richmond.
Not totally true
only 2 seasons back North coughed up 19 to the Tigers in exchange for someone with less output who has also shown nothing since. North could have picked him up in the PSD far more easily than what the Tigers could in this instance.
besides North have also shown some interest in Kozi and would take him
Excuse me but do you still have any magic beansYes but it’s Norf. That’s like saying ‘oh I sold that Jack kid some magic beans for this cow so I’m going to be a cattle farmer in no time!’. Not everyone is as bad at this as Norf are.
Our first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi. Not totally true

If the pick gets us chol, it gets done no fuss. Our first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi.
I think it's much more likely we'll offer our second pick, which is 45, which I think the Hawks would accept.
That'd be a pretty fair result, he's not in your best 22, he's uncontracted, he's requested a trade to a nominated club. I don't think this is one the Hawks will really dig their heels in to play hardball.
Why notOur first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi.

Get us Chol in a 3 way deal and it's done. Our first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi.

Yes this is the only way it will happenGet us Chol in a 3 way deal and it's done.
CCJ was a former pick 19 and was in our best 22 with spots opening up, he was also younger than JK too which brings his value closer to his drafted value, and had the ruck dual position option too.Why not
You didn’t refute the comparison to Coleman Jones which is very recent
I think the Hawks need to walk him to PSD if Tigers are not realistic
North will absolutely take him in the PSD
Good luckCCJ was a former pick 19 and was in our best 22 with spots opening up, he was also younger than JK too which brings his value closer to his drafted value, and had the ruck dual position option too.
I dont think JK fulfills many of those similarities, so I'd say his trade value is closer to Mabior Chol for at the time is a more like for like, and Richmond got pick 38 as compensation, although as RFA it's hard to directly compare.
How often do fringe players that nominate a club get a great trade price? I'd be stunned if it was anything close to 26, I think you'll be disappointed if they're your expectations.
If Hawks walked him to the PSD, I still think Richmond would take that gamble rather than parting with our first pick.
Possibly, we'll know in a few weeks but feel free to bump me if I'm not on the money.Good luck
Happy for the club to play hard ball in this instance
We have been too accomodating to other clubs for too many years now
That’s what he was prior to the trade. What is he now Eldo?CCJ was a piece of old cheese
45 in this draft becomes 50+ and basically is the end of draft picks this year based on all commentary about the depth of the draft
So letting him walk to the PSD is a no brainer
Mate, we’ll always have Richard Tambling!!my tummy is pretty full of premiership success for now too thanks
Is that the same CCJ that played 9 games in 4 years? You're saying he was best 22.CCJ was a former pick 19 and was in our best 22 with spots opening up, he was also younger than JK too which brings his value closer to his drafted value, and had the ruck dual position option too.
Yet you were happy to proclaim CCJ was best 22 at Richmond, but Kosi narr cause that doesn't suit youre argument. Our first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi.

45 plus an F3.Our first pick in the draft is 26, I dont think we'd give that up for Kosi.

Just stump up a F245 plus an F3.
CCJ wasn't best 22 for 4 years no, he became it at the end though such was our plan with KPFs and transitioning from Jack there was a spot for him as the 3rd tall/second ruck.Is that the same CCJ that played 9 games in 4 years? You're saying he was best 22.
He kicked 11 goals in 9 games over 4 years.....
Yet you were happy to proclaim CCJ was best 22 at Richmond, but Kosi narr cause that doesn't suit youre argument.
I think that's more on the money but depending on other deals I could also see it being either just pick 45, or just a F2.45 plus an F3.
