Me and a few mates lost signal too with Optus. I lost it 35 min onward and for 20 min nothing. 51st min 2nd half came back on live, I couldnt do the playback. Lucky there wasn't a goal. **********s.

Would strongly suggest going to your local Optus store tomorrow and asking for a fetch mini. It’s $5 extra a month on top of your plan but people using it tonight (including me) had zero issues with it. Works as a set top box, they provide a HDMI cable and the box itself, you just have to plug it into the TV.

Thanks Jatz. And on that, when optus epl first came out, the mrs was on the phone for 30 min organising it. Way back in 2016. The campaigners were supposed to send it, never came. I bet she's still being charged for it too.

I did mine over the phone and it was beyond painful. I’ve heard if you do it in store, it’s very simple and you won’t have to wait for shipping etc.

Maybe they've just pulled out all the bottlenecks for tonight that were slowing the server down.

No problems at all with a stream out of the UK though

Don't think it's unintentional right now - but the longer its up, the more cause people who've paid will have to ask for refunds. Suppose it depends on where the problem lies - they don't have a lot of time to get it right.
