AFL website also reporting that Henderson and McCarthy were back to running laps last Friday, so should be a few weeks away.

How many VFL games do we think SSelwood plays?

I would like to think the club will ramp up his playing time over 3 or 4 matches before he is considered for a senior recall.

But if we show a lack of defensive intensity around the ball, the club might be tempted to rush him back earlier - I'm thinking back to our trio of losses from Rnd 6 to Rnd 8 last year (Pies, Suns & Bombers) where we only won the tackle count once, and those games including the shit 40 tackles against the Bombers. Our intensity was then turned around against the Dogs with 134 tackles including 18 to Duncan & 17 to Scooter - not going to give Scooter the full credit, but we had a guy in our midfield who is happier to have more tackles than disposals a bought an intensity we had been missing.

Problem is our VFL fixture this year sucks in that we play 2 weeks and then have a bye for round 3... so really he can play max 2 VFL matches and he either has to take a weekend off or he plays seniors.

I suspect that we'll see him in round 3 in the AFL, barring no more injuries.

That would work well since round 2 is easter Monday so round 3 is the 6-day break normally off the back of a tough game against the Hawks. Add in that we're travelling to Perth that week and bringing in a fresh Scooter could give us a nice boost in intensity in a game we normally struggle in.

I'd say it all depends on how he's feeling.

it will depend on how many K's he clocks up.
He will have a target or limit, when he gets to that he will sit out the rest of the game.

gees if hendersons still 3-4 weeks then we really aint going to see him in the main side to at least the middle of the season. That makes things difficult.
