Dont like the comments about looking to use the draft to pick up a ruckman. We currently have 3 and 2 of them are pure rucks in Longer and Pierce with another that has shown that he can pinch hit in Marshall.

Let's see how these guys go next year as established ruckman are fairly easy to acquire every season that can be serviceable.

Also next year isn't there a mid year draft we can use to pick up and vfl/sanfl ruck to fill in if the above 2 or 3 are injured?.

Yes. Saints games. Don't know much about Port Adelaide players like him and Dixon. About the only Port stars I can remember are Robbie Grey and Paddy Ryder.

Pick 13,36 and 55 is traded for Hickey, 25 and 46.

Pity just about all the picks were squandered. ( Jesse Lonergon anyone ).
Melbourne got Dean Kent at pick 48.
46 Ended up going to Sydney for Membrey, but we got him for free anyway.

13, 36 & 55 = 1921
25 & 46 = 1087
Difference of 834 which is approximately pick 22
