Gosh our depth would be so much stronger if we could Hall and Scully to our list esp if their salary was average.

Neale to Brisbane trade gets done for Pick 5. Freo will then use pick 5 for Hogan. Not sure who Freo is trying to kid with their bluffing??? Melbourne are desperate for May so they'll be using that pick 5 also to trade him in.

That leaves Gold Coast with picks 2, 3 & 5.

Adelaide use Himmelberg, picks 13 & 21 to get in picks 3 or 5, 30 & future 2nd/3rd round.

Adelaide also go to St Kilda with Atkins, picks 8 & 16 to get in pick 4, 28 & future 2nd/3rd round.

Can flip the picks offered to Gold Coast & St Kilda respectively to accommodate what they want.

Leaves Adelaide with picks 3 or 5, 4, 28 & 30 this year.

An article has come out about GWS having severe doubts with Scully and his injury. They don't believe he will be able to get back to being even close to his best, hence the low value. Hawks willing to back their medical team to make it happen.

Also dayne beams wants back to Collingwood? I don't know if I've seen a bigger waste of an afl career. I know he went home for family reasons but now you moved back stick it out. Brisbane's lost is finally looking OK. A fit Charlie Cameron and a beams that stays makes them even stronger. Bailing on Brisbane who offered him a big cheque to come home to be with his family when he needed it and now just turning his back on them. Poor form imo.

Wasn't he despondent with coaching and going back to teaching ? ......wasn't that the excuse for leaving the Crows ?

Interesting that both McGovern and his Line Coach have both left the Crows .....I don't believe in coincidences

Personally I think the kid is about 12-18 months away from a proper AFL fitness base. Right now I'm looking at him as a 2020 prospect that we are about to put a very long and grueling preseason into.

Trade week is way too long. Wednesday week one to Wednesday week 2 is completely unnecessary. Could all be done in 3 days. Clubs just sit there for 5 days waiting until one side blinks and pays up in the hope of the best possible deal. It’s dumb and it’s all for publicity to the AFL cause.

For starters, trade week is currently Monday to Wednesday of the next week.

And it’s necessary because random stuff happens and players need time to decide, often with their partner, whether they’ll move interstate. Like Ryan Burton.

yea moved up to Brisbane for family reasons, now wants to move back for family reasons. the first time was understandable but the second time is BS

The lack of Co-incidence is the destination that Gov went too and the Current Forward line coach there.

$8 million over 8 years to Fremantle? Yeah, I can see why they have balked at his asking price.

Himmelberg, even if I don’t see him as a long term commodity the club does. He has never been mentioned as trade bait or even put into the conversation. So this won’t happen.

Gold Coast have no clear reason to trade 3 and 5 to us.

Your deals are sound in logic and principle for us but not in action. I hope your deals happen.

Disillusioned with where Adelaide were going and how they were going about it.
Also was in discussions with Sturt about their coaching role.
