so lyon doesnt turn it

why is it that it turned last night and didnt turn today........after there was A SIGNIFICANT pause

He had a long stride in and it hit him just in line with leg stump after pitching on off, how is that magically turning in the air after not off the pitch? I would have been shocked if that wasn’t missing watching the initial replay. I think everyone got excited about it hitting the back pad

The Stokes one last night was weird because Australia barely went up, and may have helped Dar justify his wrong decision. There's been a few times in the series when Australia have only gone up half heartedly on close ones, often when they come up as Umpire's Call on DRS.

Has the DRS led to less overappealing, to the point where legit shouts are being missed? Something we might need to look at as much as our terrible use of the reviews. Very costly in this innings.

Edmund: "I think this whole DRS system is up for review. Stokes was lbw twice last night, but Australia didn't review because they were afraid of losing their review and now they lose it because ball tracker doesn't take account of 5th day offspin. It's all down to bluff and psychology rather than ensuring that the correct decision is made. Football VAR is not perfect but at least it's down to the officials rather than the players to decide whether to apply it or not.

some good points

Whoops.. 😂 No idea why I thought there was still another to go. Haven’t been paying attention. That first day washout messing with me.
