This is due to the bulls**t a select few of the playing group who have started the rumours to make it suit themselves plus due to the “presentation” of players when he turned up at the silly Sunday.

If he does walk then it’s Flats loss and they will never improve if they continue to be dictated too by those players

When did he actually inform the players he was going to absent Saturday? A month before? Week before? Apparently had the tickets to the basketball for a fair while.

But the decision has been made. I hope whoever takes on the role going forward is able to make some strides forward

It seems that for the near future, there will remain at least two teams on the receiving end of floggings. Come the end of the year, which club is now in more strife, Castlemaine or Flat.
Until the appointment of Bennett, the Flat had made a couple of disastrous coaching appointments. This now sets them well back at the bottom.

My spin on it is that if Bennett went to the Committee of the Club and said Ive got something on can I have permission to have the game off? And the Committee said yes we"re fine with that then they should have came out defended him to the hilt and said their is nothing too see here we had full knowledge and ticked it off. Reading between the lines they ticked it off then when criticism was coming thick and fast they didnt back him the way they should of.

Yes a tragic loss, just look how much the Flat improved with his coaching.

they'd checked their sheets and the supposed stand-in coach wasn't registered as a registered and qualified senior bfnl coach
so 'shatty' shatwell the twos mentor was officially written-in on the flat team sheet as the coach for that rd. 22 match
