I never want the Hinkley era to end. Also what has happened to footy In SA, we are both as bad as each other but at least port have a crack at it its just the turnovers costing them.

I can't decide if the blues suns game is good or terrible.
I'm glad Port are as bad as us.
But if they were actually decent it might make the club hierarchy stop and think a little more about what they are doing.

Gees carlton have got lucky with some scrimage balls going their way and gc taking the wrong option going forward...they probably win but had some luck

Again..carlton get a soft as schitt goal just when gc coming..they have got lucky today against the worst side in the AFL. Funny the umps are seeing everything for carlton and giving them a free ride and missing plenty for gc

Pyke is significantly better than Hinkley - tactically, experience and communication but Bassett, Voss and Scofield are much more talented than Camporeale, Godden and Hart.
Our best footy is better than theirs but when we are shit, we are really shit.
Our best is top 4 stuff but we are lazy and unmotivated to play our best often enough.

Today proves the Gold Coast do not need a priority pick. They are about 12 to 18 months behind Carlton who will be better again next year. They should win 8 to 10 games next year and make finals in 2021 with the right coach.
Only 4 goals down in a verity competitive game. I hope they AFL say no to a priority pick to every club.
