Yes. But so did draper our young up and coming ruck. We may go with 3 ruckman this year:oops:

Draper gets good reviews, fair few hold him in pretty high regard, by the looks.

Yep alot of us have very high hopes for him. His tapwork is great just need to work on a all round game a little as he comes from a soccer background and get bigger/stronger, but he isnt even 21 yet. Wouldnt be suprised if he got a game or 2 this year just to give him some afl exposure.

Sooooo... when's Mutch getting a game cause he's still loitering on last years bench the lazy campaigner?

I know there's a lot of variables to take into account (such as team structure), but what's the max number of expensive rookies we should start?

Got my eyes on Collins, Clark, Cousins, Walsh, Butters, Rankine, Setterfield. Don't really wanna start them all :$
What's your definition of expensive? I currently have 3 over $150k, being Collins, Walsh and Archie Smith. Setterfield and Clark just below that level.

Hey man, the Horks board suggests that Cousins isn't best 22 yet. What are your thoughts on that?

He doesn't have amazing JS. You know Clarko doesn't hold back sending someone back to the 2s. Cousins will probably get first crack at Mitchell's mid spot, but like all hawk rookies, they'll get the arse after a few games if they aren't doing what Clarko wants.

Really good thanks for that

struggling to balance the side Forward line only has Danger and Devon in the team

Last year I only went premiums and kids but this year it seems some mid price players are the way to go

Not sure but he's a bit of a pea-heart. Got injured by a strong breeze at Freo with his dicky knee post music festival injury
Mmmm ....then Clarkes not going to be a reliable R3 .....and at his $140K+ price

Bad news for Balta enthusiasts (everyone), Lynch looking more and more likely to play round 1 and Caddy on “a similar timeframe”
The positive is that if Lynch and Balta are named together we can be confident that Balta has good JS. He'll need another good JLT game though

True, I think he will be playing round 1, and the more of our full strength team is available the better his JS looks
It'll also come down to whether we are willing to put Lynch in the ruck. If we hear anything about not using Lynch in the ruck then Balta is a lock until Grigg is back in round 5 or so

Some Tigers-affiliated SC blokes thinking similarly, by the looks.
