Well if you can't trust Kymbo and the Rooch, who can you trust?SEN SA’s Kym Dillon says that the management of Adelaide midfielder Hugh Greenwood is shopping him around for $750,000.
Dillon’s co-host and veteran journalist Michelangleo Rucci is hearing that the Gold Coast Suns have put an offer in front of the former basketball player that “he can’t refuse”.
“Greenwood wants to stay but wants four years,” Dillon told SEN SA’s Kymbo and the Rooch.
“He’s probably gone. They got him for nothing as a Category B rookie, same as Alex Keath.
“They’re happy to let him go at 27. They’d love him to stay but they’re not going to give him four years.
“I have categorically heard, categorically, it’s not too often I come out and say this is a fact, that his management are trying to shop him around for $750,000 on the basis of one good year.”

Future first and our current second may work. Some may think it’s overkill, but he’ll be worth it. Use our current first on a speedy hb in the draft.Keep the pick. Do it another way.
Splitting picks is a decent idea but i reckon it’s better to keep the pick and go to the draft this year. Some very good mids and hbf in the top 10 range
Is next year the compromised Academy draft?Splitting picks is a decent idea but i reckon it’s better to keep the pick and go to the draft this year. Some very good mids and hbf in the top 10 range
Future first is the better option
Yep
Yep Easily LairdIf we could get either Laird or Papley with our fist pick (7 or 8, whatever it ends up being), then for me it's Laird all the way. No contest, IMO.
Keep the pick. Do it another way.
If the club banks on improving next year, trading it this year could be a really good move. Could also backfire tremendously. Be bold, trade it
Agreed that our backline is the biggest concern, although it works be nice to have a goal kicking small forward again. If we could get either Laird or Papley with our fist pick (7 or 8, whatever it ends up being), then for me it's Laird all the way. No contest, IMO.
Our backline is great. Even better with laird. Mids and small fwds far more pressing in terms of need. But if laird wants to come, we make roomAgreed that our backline is the biggest concern, although it works be nice to have a goal kicking small forward again.

the AFL will find a way for him to get $1M+ per year and still fit into their cap.Whitfield will be worth a lot of coin and GWS won't have any capacity to match the offers he's likely to get. It's my hope it's Whitfield that is the reason we're so quiet this year.
Ahhh you dont seem to understand that it doesnt matter about salary cap any longer, they’ll give whitfield an ambassadorship which will top him upwards and beyond any offer he will receive. The only one that GWS didn’t intervene with was Shiel, but in all honesty Shiel is a big shiny turd anyway.. whitfield, Cameron, Greene, Kelly and Coniglio are UNTOUCHABLEWhitfield will be worth a lot of coin and GWS won't have any capacity to match the offers he's likely to get. 100% Laird for our pick 7, I would even be open to add our 2nd also.. as for Papley, No chance in hell is he worth a first round pickIf we could get either Laird or Papley with our fist pick (7 or 8, whatever it ends up being), then for me it's Laird all the way. No contest, IMO.
Are you thinking of Brodie Smith? I type in 'Rory Laird knee' into Google and nothing comes up.I don't watch much of Adelaide - can someone please confirm Laird has played at his best post his knee reco?
