Confirmation on afl site that it’s being released Thursday 31 October.

It’s understood Kennett and McGuire are holding up the release of the draw.

Kennett’s angry about Hawthorn playing 5 games instead of 4 in the 2:10 Saturday time slot, while McGuire’s unhappy that one of Collingwood’s 8 Friday night games is in round 16 instead of the requested round 17.

The fixture may be delayed until early November.

If Kennett holds such sway why did we have 1 Friday night and 15 Sunday evening games in 2019 ?

We know Lions V Pies on Easter Thursday and Saints V Port last weekend of May in China.

The obvious ones like ANXAC day Easter Monday etc.

Unfortunately it will probably be Richmond V Carlton opening the season so hope there is a good NRL game tgat night.

Don’t pay any attention to the article on AFL site. Lots of suggestions as to what games could occur, including Swans v Hawks on a Thursday in round 4 - three days after we play Cats on Easter Monday!

I would like to see the West Coast Eagles get 7 consecutive home games to finish the season. Then listen to all there bitching when they complain about how hard their draw is in the first 15 weeks.

I would like WC to play 6-7 away games in a row to start the season to enable this to happen.
