4 Smiths on our list :D

You don't include the likes of Lachie Smith, The Big Smith, Dayne Smith, Hugh Smith, Kiddy Smith, Smithy Rich, Harris Smith, Darcy Smith, Charles Smith, Neale Smith, Eric Smith, Devon Smith, **** Smith in that?

So another player to challenge Jarrod Berry for the time trial who took over from Nick Robertson.

Hope he can actually play footy because the Fox Footy only spoke about his running and didn't seem overly enthusiastic about his footy ability unlike every other player.

As for Phil Partington, the less I say about that bloke the better.
Did someone kick your dog Dylan? The level of negativity is really becoming tiresome. They mentioned multiple times that he’s a good footballer but I’m guessing you ignored that to fit your own lions loathing narrative.

not surprising when a kid is a national level athlete they’re going to talk about that as a massive X factor. Doesn’t mean he can’t play footy

Bit of a nothing draft for the lions. Coleman is a go but a runner and a green ruckman seems a bit speculative
My exact thoughts too.

Given our position, its probably the best time to ever go speculative, but wouldn't be expecting any of these guys to feature in the ones any time soon. No doubt there'll be some hype about Sharp's running by Fish, but I wouldn't be getting excited.

As for the experts on Fox Footy, of all clubs, their reaction of the players we drafted was the most underwhelming by a fair margin. Its always nice to walk away from a draft with a modicum of excitement about the night, but to be honest, I'm pretty flat.

I will keenly await our draft experts thoughts i.e. Quigley and briztoon

I could see Henry Smith passing Archie Smith to be honest.

Happy little camper here. Coleman, potential Andrew Gaff, and a junior Oscar. In our position, astute list management, IMO.

Last couple of drafts have been nothing drafts bar potentially Robertson. Pat of the course up the top of the ladder, without losing guns for picks or top rated academy or father son selections

Use the Ignore function if you are so bothered, which you are the whole time, so get off my arse if you don't like it because I couldn't care less what you think about my posting.

If you've walked away from tonight feeling over the moon about our night, then good for you, but I suspect there are quite a few that are very underwhelmed about our night and the manner in which we've traded picks, both during the trade period, pre draft and on the draft night.

I have no doubt when the experts rate each club's draft we'll be somewhere near the bottom. You can't win them all and obviously this year is less important for obvious reasons, but why wouldn't anyone want to feel good following a draft night?

The fact that every team has passed over my top two wanted players clearly shows I'm no expert.

Wheels falling off without Noble, Selwyn and Stef
