Collingwood's next generation academy tall midfielder/defender Reef McInnes is being regularly linked by industry sources to one of Essendon's trio of top 10 picks.
If that happens and Collingwood have to use #14 on him, they've essentially traded Treloar for nothing. lol.
They don’t want a 1st rounder next year they’re trying to get rid of the 1 they already haveMaybe that's why Collingwood is looking to trade #14 for a first rounder next year *cough* C4 *cough*
Next year is a long way away. Doesnt mean to say they will keep it!They don’t want a 1st rounder next year they’re trying to get rid of the 1 they already have
Yeah one of those I got good news and bad news for you.Theres no way the Crows bid on him. Whoever they end up getting will probably misses out on 50k through salary, any promotional sh*t that comes with being pick 1.
Bet you Jack Watts wishes he went at 2.Theres no way the Crows bid on him. Whoever they end up getting will probably misses out on 50k through salary, any promotional sh*t that comes with being pick 1.
I reckon they will. It will take some pressure off whoever they take at pick 2. The club can pay players extra than the mandated amount via the ASA's and in their second contract to make up for not being #1.Theres no way the Crows bid on him. A record-low number of selections are set to be used at next Wednesday’s national AFL draft.
With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing several underage leagues, most notably the NAB League, to come to a halt, AFL recruiters have had a tough task identifying prospects this season.
But come next week, nearly a quarter of the overall national draft selections expected will likely be tied to the 18 AFL clubs.
Foxfooty.com.au has found there will be approximately 53 selections taken on draft night, with 12 of them likely to be bids on players already tied to AFL teams.
The 2020 draft pool for some time has loomed as the most compromised in recent history given the abundance of Next Generation Academy and father-son prospects.
Port Adelaide: 35, 47, 57, 59, 73, 95 (likely to use two picks)
