And that bloke who wears 14.....
There is a valid reason to retain Mackay for 1 more year due to Covid. The reduction of the coaching panel(AFL decision) will allow them to utilise the great rapport Macca has with the younger players in an unofficial coaching(support) role.Plus, Crows have a shortage of experienced players right now. This was flagged by Campo on ABC Radio weeks ago.

Nah, not a disaster yet.

Himmelberg dictates whether its a disaster or a pass.
Haha come on mate be serious.

We have the worst midfield in the comp, just gave away our best midfielder for a second rounder, and delisted both the midfielders we took in the 1st and 2nd round in 2016 when they should be coming into their prime.

Even if Berg makes it, it was a disaster. Unless you call 1/5 a pass.

For drafting, having 1 out of 5 succeed and get to 100+ games is a pass, should Himmelberg get there of course, due to the inexact nature of drafting and development.

Trading is a separate beast, and with the power of hindsight, that part ended up being a disaster.

Point taken, but you overlooked Campo's "coaching" point. I don't know how many are left on the coaching panel- is it necessary?

Jesus, you have some low standards.

Let's hope we do better than a '1/5 pass' in this draft, otherwise we are rooted.

Bickley pushing for a KPF at pick 1: But will you take a mid with pick 9 Reidy?

Reid: Look Bickley, there are 3 or 4 talents we're looking at with pick 1.

Did he also mention something along the line, even tho they will stick with the talent order, there are some considerations with local and balance,
Miss that part of that conversation, had to answer a message on another PC.

He's said they will always put a weighting on SA talent if it's a lineball decision several times in interviews he's done today.

Is this the same Mark Bickely who said he doesn't know much about the draft except there is a 200cm tall KPF from Adelaide who is pretty good?

The guy doesn't know the draft. I'll leave it up to the blokes who do thanks. If Hamish says Thilthorpe at 1, that's good enough for me.

Sydney probably keen on McDonald. Then the Roos may get wind and offer something as well.
I think the Swans go DGB personally. He would seem the right fit with Aliir out and Campbell coming in the mids as well.

Just heard an interesting Pick trade, no proof or any cred, but thought I put it up,
I still would not take it but it sounds OK,
Pick 1 and 23 for Sydney pick 3 and 2021 1st rd pick,
Looks good for us, likely to end up 3 and top 10. One of the 3 good ones still be there by then (LM/RT/EH) and an extra first, likely to be high next year. Brave move from syd tho.
