You can say it all you want but it will be in the books with no asterisk.
All supporters beside the team that win this asterisk premiership will say this and that's what count, similarly why no other supporters take notice of Port Power claiming those SANFL premierships. Also when they look at the history book, they will notice that there are only 17 H&A game played and the season finished in mid October.....WTF is going on here, make no mistake 2020 will be only remember for one thing and won't be about who the asterisk AFL premier were.

Nope and its cringeworthy to think otherwise, no one ever looks in the books to see how many games were played in a year, EVER.
When the season finished has less than zero relevance.

Well those that have football knowledge will as they want to see how the "premiers" won the premiership, hell, even when they look at the venue and see this wasn't hosted at the MCG which it has for 50+ years will question this.

Every year is compromised!
Im not sure how anyone could think otherwise?

Some years are more compromised than others though.

Like its hardly ever noted that the Lions were forced to play their home prelim at the G in the year, those feral neighbours of ours won the flag in 2004.

It should be though.

Much like how the Crows have had to play away home finals.

Keep clutching, why would those that have football knowledge need to look up the history books?
Just stop its embarrassing.

In reality though its irrelevant, there will always be a team with a hard luck story.
Do we asterisk every year?

When has the season been so much compromised such that there are only 17 games played and team playing at "home" and some of them starting the season in hubs for 5-6 consecutive weeks where they didn't cope which virtually wipe their entire season at the half way point.

So which teams had their seasons wiped that would be contending?
So we going to asterisk next year when its 28 games or are we going to asterisk every other year thats been 22?
17 games is more than enough to conduct a season over.

That will play no part. They are talking 2025. However it would be dependant on how the afl recovers financially. If the afl is struggling and clubs end up folding well there will be no money to invest in a new team anyway.

Maybe it actually helps Tasmanias case.

When North, The Dogs, the Dees or the Saints have another economic disaster, The AFL might not have the luxury of bailing them out.

In comes Tasmania and their Govt backed $$$

Gosh that would be awesome to see those useless Vic Clubs extinguished like they should have been back in 91.

A team from NT would be a goal too.

And that's they point, no-one can definitively say how much it has impacted each team but you can definitively say there's impact and now the amount of soft tissue injuries that are now occurring which will affect the team who are playing finals, hence the asterisk season. IMO, West Coast would certainly have finished top 4 and we might not have finish bottom last and yes next year will be another asterisk season until everything return back to normal.

Thats a long winded way to say you cant actually name any.

The Crows are a long way of the pace with Memberships ......should be at West Coast levels or at a minimum 10% below

That's not ticketed, so misleading in terms of revenue. But pretty sure digital engagement has been a focus under Fagan's stewardship. I guess this is another area where he's a fraud and failure.

So Barrett was going with the rumour that Jack Viney was exploring his options at Melbourne. I wonder whether we would have any interest in picking him up? Has lived in Adelaide, we lack midfield depth and could be secured for say the Giants pick.

Viney has his chance to be part of a real team. He can **** off, he and his old man, and be a flog somewhere else

I just watch this to feel good.

dude316 did a version of this that was beautiful
