So the AFL are saying the only wrong decision in the Freo Carlton game was Gibbons not taking the last of the game.
I’ve been watching footy for over 20 years and I can’t recall a single time a free kick has been awarded down field if the ball has gone out of bounds on the full. I’m not surprised, but it does confirm the AFL will change rules week to week if it means making an umpire appear right.

I think he’s going to end up a taller version of James Hird.

Able to play key defence, key forward or midfield. He’ll just float around and put himself wherever he’s needed.
