Our weather here in the UK in the supposedly summer months has got progressively
worse over the last decade or so.
We have gone from guaranteed 4 to 5 weeks pure heat and reasonably warm/dry weather
the rest of the time to practically nothing.
We get a few random heatwaves and now we are back to wind and rain.
Two of the upcoming T20 games will be a near washout and the upcoming games v the
aussies will be hit and miss.
Can't even believe they are going ahead with our T20 comp finishing October 3rd FFS.

I thought this was weird. I didn't think they had anything to lose having a go at getting 6 wickets in 15 overs. It seemed a bit like they were over it and just wanted it to end. Surely with nothing to lose in the match you have a go at it?WTF?

Might have got the record if his fielders supported him more during the test.
Nevertheless, glad for him that he could get it done on the last day. A nice sharp catch from Root. Shame that not much of a crowd could be there celebrate it.

if you just remove the dozens and dozens of bowlers who could bowl in any conditions and didn’t play twice as much test cricket as any other nation, yeah he’s probably top 10
