so because of the lack of good rookies you are willing to sacrifice the two highest scoring players in the game?It has came to a point where I am considering not taking either Gawn or Grundy. With very little rookies to pick freeing up cash is paramount.

I could see the argument for not having 1 but 2 is crazy imoYea, but you wouldn't get two shit campaigners in. You would get Ceglar maybe Marshall? Upgrade two mid pricers to keepers. Gawn and Grundy will drop a little bit, but will rise soon after. Just a risk we may need to take.

You are looking at losing 30 points min each. Yes points will be gained elsewhere but you will have to burn an extra 2 trades to get them back into your side at a later time as odds are they will be the two highest scoring rucks and by a considerable margin and most likely the highest scoring players in the game.
Also you can bring in keepers else where but those keepers most likely aren't going to score as well as Gawn and Grundy anyway
But hey kudos to you if you have the balls to start the season without either two and it pays off!
comment on a post like a smart ass campaignerSo much shit in this post I don't know where to begin.
You're not losing 30 points each unless you do nothing with the money you save not picking them. You are also not burning 2 trades when you try get them in later - everyone will generally start with the same amount of keepers (in the 12-14 range depending on the price of the premiums selected). If anything, those not starting Gawn and Grundy will be able to afford an additional keeper leading to it actually saving trades in the long run potentially.
I can't believe that this sort of shit gets posted consistently every single year around here which is just blatantly wrong.
For the record I have Grundy + Gawn at the moment but putting some consideration into Grundy + Naismith.
Because your post is full of shit. Your arguments are useless and are blatantly wrong. I stated what I'm doing to show I'm not bias in my defending of someone not picking Gawn and Grundy.comment on a post like a smart ass campaigner
Then say you are going down the same path as the poster you are paying out
Ah bigfooty

Insurance for when one part of my team inevitably explodesbonar to curtis taylor will be popular

Not a fan of Roberton?View attachment 836256
im still stuck on this. cant see it changing much.
got my 3 locks in the back. lloyd is too expensive to bring in who is the only one i really want. cummings ash and noble are also locked.
mid 5 premos are also locked. macrae to bont to make some extra cash if i really need it. 3 mid rookies are also locked.
gawndy locked.
whitfield and dusty have to be locked. not happy with a mid pricer in d.smith but it is what it is. would love to somehow turn smith into a premo somewhere and turn him into my 13th premium.
LOL - I've only got $500 left and my team is still shit!I actually hate this team but that probably means it will do well. Problem is only $100 left.

I've heard that before !Bonar should have never been in
was either roberton or cummings for meNot a fan of Roberton?
Solid team given you have Gawndy. Obviously gone 1 short in the mids but it’s a nice team nonetheless.Any changes needed. Looks like I'm ready to go. Everyone's on the Noble train. Gawndy in the ruck is no brainer really. View attachment 836269
