Koch & his "We are a zero tolerance club" motto? probably already been knowingly breached in the past lol
Port of late have had the ability to steer players back on to the right track, so I wouldn’t at this point cut our noses off to spite our face. At the end of the day I trust people like Davies to do what is best for the clubs interests going into the future. Recruitment has been a substantial strength of Port over the last few years.

We need to be very careful not to Rock the boat our biggest strength is how close the playing group is what's the saying 1 bad egg...
Unless we get crouch for a steal and our leadership group ticks it off the maybe but personally I don't think he is worth the trouble.
The problem is we have no picks to trade so we would be after a FA maybe Viney is the better option.

Could you imagine dealing with Dodo on a contracted Merrett....He Would ask for Wines + Georgiadis + 1st rounder...the guy is unhinged.
He won't leave, it will end up like the Daniher non trade.
I hope they employ him forever he's one of many reasons Essendon have been hot garbage for the best part of 20 years.

Would just be wasting our time.

There are a huge number of AFL players on the booger sugar. Many of which would suprise as they had squeaky clean public images.

I would say over 50%.

Many wouldn't do it during the season but would rack up with the best of them during the breaks.

Ergo, I don't think it's a deal breaker for us chasing Brouch.

Crouch should still be of interest to Port, but clauses should be put in to the contract offered to him that provide secruity to Port if he is caught again.
The spirit and unity within the playing group is almost palpable at the moment - best it's been in ages. The out-trading of some notable name players in the last few years has to have played a part in that.

Why we would even entertain bringing Brouch into the club now is beyond me.

Brad Crouch would be vilified by crowies in the streets, shops, pubs etc if he transferred to Port. I don't think he would have the mental fortitude to deal with it.

Dangerfield got it right, if you leave the crows, get far away from them and he got back to where he would feel comfortable. That's why a Ballarat boy would probably feel more comfortable at Geelong if he left.

I was listening to Choco recently talking about how after being unable to get over the line in finals in the early 00’s the club kept bring in toughness; Carr, Pickett and Hardwick.

Zac Merrett is a good footballer but he doesn’t win you finals.

Which Essendon player has, the last 16 years? ;)

I'm all aboard the Viney train if he is physically right will cost us nothing .
I now his not a big need but rocky probably has 1 yr left in him and if he can get back to his best would be a nice addition.
