He handled the US response to it. Come on now. If you're going to enter a thread like this at least try to have a rational discussion and not come up with asinine childish retorts.
And we know that the Dems wouldn't have closed the border to Chinese, I haven't seen evidence as to other ways they would've handled it other than their performance with their states, which hasn't been good either. All things considered it's fair to say it's been a shit situation and would've regardless of who was president

you think asking a question about injecting bleach into people is a sign of an intelligent person?

even my 6 year old niece would laugh at that
I mean you're the one saying he said people should do it, I don't think you should be talking about anyone else's intelligence

he proposed that because bleach kills the virus externally, it might be a good idea to study injecting it into the body

given trumpians like yourself drank fish tank cleaner when he started pushing HCQ, suggesting bleach as a cure was insane

then again, his medical inspiration comes from people who also think cervical cancer is caused by demon semen

Ok?

lol. Pretty sure they (anyone else really, dem or repub) wouldn't have;

- Tweeted "liberate" to states currently in a lockdown
- Undermined their head of infectious diseases
- Deliberately slowed testing so that less cases are recorded
- Spitballed on a untested treatment live on tv during a press conference watched by millions during a pandemic

Agree with you that it would have been thoroughly shit situation whoever was in charge, but seeing Trump's management of this as anywhere near bassline is fantasy stuff.

Yeah, those who were protesting peacefully
What's white supremacists got to do with it?
And that's obviously NOT who we're talking about... which is why I ask
You appear to be under a misapprehension here. Perhaps because of the false facts that the right wing media pushed after Trump's comments to justify them, where they tried to portray the protest in Charlottesville as a peaceful, protect the statue protest. If that was correct and what had occurred, you might have a point.

The problem is its wrong. As the article I posted pointed out, the protest was not a simple protect the statue protest. It was organised by white supremacy groups. They were very open about who they were and what they stood for. This was reported on before the protest. This was not a general right-wing protect the statue protest, it was a white supremacy group who organised the protest and were quite clear what they stood for. This was further supported by what they were doing on the day, such as the chants and torches they carried, during the protest.

So when Trump said there were fine people on both sides, he was supporting white supremacists. The fact some of them were peaceful doesn't matter. Trump was effectively saying that the peaceful white supremacists were "fine people". Which is what the media reported, and why people had a problem with his statements.

The irony here is you've argued that the issue is missing context by the journalists. But your comments above "what's white supremacists got to do with it", they were protesting peacefully, that's (white supremacists) not who we're talking about, shows that you don't actually know the context yourself.

You can easily copy past what I typed and put into google. He didn't suggest it, he asked a question, as you can see there's a question mark on the quote which means it was a question
I'm not doing your research for you, you make the claim, you back it up.

Arizona police are now conducting a homicide investigation into a woman who claimed she gave her husband fish tank cleaner after President Trump claimed the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine was an effective treatment for coronavirus.

Wanda Lenius told NBC News last month that she and her husband Gary consumed fish tank cleaner because it contained a chemical that Trump suggested might be an effective prophylactic and treatment for coronavirus. The cocktail, which contained four teaspoons of fish tank cleaner mixed with soda water, put Wanda in the ICU and killed Gary. “My advice,” Wanda explained, is “don’t believe anything that the President says and his people because they don’t know what they’re talking about.”

The Washington Free Beacon, which first reported that Wanda was a “prolific” Democratic donor and that she had a troubling relationship with her husband that included a previous domestic assault charge, revealed Tuesday night that Mesa City Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the death of Gary, and requested recordings of the Free Beacon’s interviews with Wanda.

Because you said it's weird to believe no one has presented anything racist he has done until now. Well it's an actual fact, it's more weird to believe you know every conversation I've had

Did I say I did?

Or maybe he was misinformed that there were peaceful protestors there? Either way I made my point, it doesn't really matter if there were peaceful protestors there or not

Obama literally set up funding and agencies to deal with potential pandemics that Trump defunded.

Ha ha poor old Biden has his VP chosen for him and she's publically called him a racist and sexual predator :$

Or Biden has shown a maturity and level-headedness to, in recognising his own faults, select a running mate who brings together all parts of the Democratic Party.

It's implied by the fact that you assume you know everything I have seen. Unless you're saying you agree with common talking points like the border wall being racist

I haven't assumed to know anything you've said other than you clearly having no knowledge of racist remarks made by Trump so that in the space of a page of this thread you went from "He's not racist" to "He may be racist but".

Gee I wonder why you didn't link the article :tearsofjoy:

After publication, a spokesman for the Mesa City Police Department told the Free Beacon that it is "normal protocol" for the homicide department to investigate "all death cases (other than obvious natural causes)" and that the death "has not been ruled a homicide at this time."

Or maybe he was misinformed that there were peaceful protestors there? Either way I made my point, it doesn't really matter if there were peaceful protestors there or not

Correct, the fact that there were white supremacists there (and that this was widely known) would be the pertinent part.

Naaaah mate, they've got him locked in his basement, didn't ya know!??

It's practically Silence of the Lambs round at his place at the moment :tearsofjoy:
